you faggots invited yourself into an imaginary campaign in a region that welcomes you only as targets
I fail to see a problem with this.
We picked a target rich environment and in turn are logically ourselves targets. It's getting us good fights and I have yet to see a single person (beside some random moaners in Jagged) that are concerned with the lack of owned space. We want fights, we're getting fights.
To be fair your parents did you by accident, but hey that turned out okay, right?
So usually I don't post silly BRs over small stuff, but today kinda made my brain hurt.
Imperial Legion decided they wanted to assault our tower in KZ and formed an armor battleship gang complete with a healthy complement of Guardians to come do the dirty deed.
I got excited and began forming a bomber gang to go say hi while two of our guys in system began manning guns.
Needless to say by the time we burned the 10j to system and got to the tower, the fight was already over.
The toll: 3 incapped guns, 8 dead battleships.

N.B. The API seems to refuse to pull the 8th BS kill for some reason *shrug*. Also the hilarious SkyNet nature of POSes nowadays caused one of the blue rapiers to die. I wonder when CCP is going to get around to actually fixing the issue with towers and broken aggression mechanics? I personally have filed atleast 4 bug reports over the last six months and gotten 5 ships GM reimbursed.
to be fair that pos doesn't give a shit at what it shoots. when you see it eat members of the owning corp you wonder if its really safe lol
Harvey ever see the movie wedding crashers? Where John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey just invite them self's to a wedding. Show up say they are friends of the Groom, then proceed to hook up with all the bridesmaids.
Well in this case 401k is John Beckwith and THORN is Jeremy Grey and the bridesmaids are the current residents in Curse and Scalding pass. Yea we may have come with false invitations but that's not going stop us from laying down our d peace in some fine ass now is it?

Most import great big time secret question though is WHO IS CHRISTOPHER WALKEN???
Disclaimer: the following are irrelevant NPC bum shenanigans, deal with it
Shoutout to AGONY for coming over from fucking Syndicate and having balls of steel engaging our bigger Oracle gang w/ their Penisfleet (dualprop Deimoses + Oneiroses).
And by engaging i mean actually moving around the grid. Very refreshing attitude.
In a total nonshocker two thirds of our gang were fucking terrible and we could barely break 3 Oneiros worth of reps with 8 Tier3. After losing a couple of ships and it becoming apparent that there is no way they could break even flimsy Oracles under 3 Basis AGONY decided to bail. In the EXACT same moment our Claymore broadcasts for cap, links drop and we fail to tackle anything

Fight over some timer or something this morning in RYC. I was asleep, but nerds were up and fighting.
http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=8931
We got owned by Russians. I, at least, was really surprised to see THE UNTHINKABLES, whom I thought to be a worthless renter alliance, fielding a Tengu fleet.
I shall do a first post as you have insulted our internet spaceships honor. We would be around more often to laugh at IMPL losing their space and constantly undocking drakes into munnins but we're busy enjoying the epic pew pew in Gem with our renter tengu fleets with our pet overlords Gypsy. I do sincerely hope our alliance leaders get us discounts on our rent for fielding 40+ man tengu fleets.
Some actual content, you guys have put most of IMPLs Scalding holdings into reinforced, given the timezone difference and numbers on paper the IMPL defense has been... interesting? The next fortnight should prove to be make or break for IMPL (And make would be the worlds greatest magic trick.) and probably by extension it will effect the various entities related to them directly above in the drone regions, having an impact on the war there between SONE and friends and potentially even between SOLAR and NC in a very minor way.
As a renter though, I worry that our shit sec status systems may be ripped from us.![]()
Better hit those anomalies while you can then.

Today at 18:30 or so HJ-BCH station came out of ref, so we formed muninns to see if we could frag a bunch of imp-l. Fleet went up to about 110, and we moved onto titan.
After a wee bit of waiting, we drop on some imp-l carriers sitting just outside their pos shields (repping i assume). Nukey manages to dd a thanny with his titan just before it slides back into shields, the others get safely inside.
A little later we warp to station, where about half a dozen carriers are doing their rep slave labour. We manage to bump a thanny and start killing it, then bump a nid that promptly gets dded by nukey as well. The thanny at this point is in half structure but getting lots of rr, and we don't manage to kill him until our hero rook gets a jam off on one of the rring archons.
After this we derp around abit and eventually start shooting station, when a little bird tells us on comms that imp-l is inbound. They land abit far away from us in a drake/rupture fleet that has just slightly lower numbers than our muninn fleet, and that match-up really says it all. Drakes start dying left right and centre, partly because muninns rape them hard, partly because a lot of them sported rather bizarre fits and they only had a single scimi (poor fellow).
Even after their initial welp, they warp a couple more ships into us now and again, keeping us somewhat entertained while we plunk at the station.
Then suddenly cyno goes up and a wild solar ahac fleet appears. We try to engage them for abit, but things get too hectic when some reshipped imp-l vikings come in in drakes as well and we pull out after killing like 8-9 guardians/ahacs, while probably losing about a dozen or so ships, including riverini's honour tanked lach (ssly wtf was he thinking).
In retrospect, our fc probably took us in abit too close for comfort, and we lost a couple of peeps to poor mwd cycling on their part as well. Anyways while we regrouped on pos trying to get people to reship and go in for another try, another 100 or so peeps enter local: solar's alpha fleet (we probably popped their cyno too fast for those to come in) and a bunch of their carriers. We decide that our ass is scalding enough for now and derp off back to curse.
Props to imp-l and blues for bringing it (though you may want to rethink your fleet comps/fits juuuuuust a little) and thanks to solar for bringing a fight as well.
BR link (couldn't get br-doc to work properly for some reason - thorn alliance kept bugging the whole thing. bastards.): http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13919641
Also here's some local porn:
20:52:03 Lucian James > hey solar?
20:52:12 Lucian James > how bout you hit me up to talk to a REAL PVP alliance to hold space here?
20:52:23 Lucian James > your pets are mostly harmless

401K is in danger of disbanding.
Everyone is whining about not being able to afford Hellcats. In Curse. nbs
Well if they didn't derp all those muninns~
Why doesn't 401k just resub all of their supers and destroy everything around them.
20 Titans augmenting your muninn fleets would be awesome.
We've been having a fairly chill, fun campaign. Props to all involved, even to IMP-L, who despite their adversity are still bringing numbers to the meatgrinder. And hey, maybe a Muninn fleet whelp will teach us some humility so we stop bumping caps out of your towers three days in a row![]()
Here is an overly dramatic video that shows the aforementioned dread being bumped out of a tower and killed.
Also had a nice fight with IMP-L on Sunday morning. IMP-L lost many drakes to Muninn fleet while we took no losses. For some reason they primaried a single Muninn the whole time we were cycling through drakes and they never switched targets until 2/3 of their fleet was dead.
Unthinkables joined the fray about when we had cleared the field of IMP-L and warped in the Tengu fleet on us. We bailed out. FC wanted to give them a fight and warped our fleet back in to try and kill some tengus. When scimis were being alpha'd we bailed again. Took some looses there and didn't kill anything but a few tackle. GFs in local and went home.
Battle Report
BR Doctor note, you have to manually edit the URL after assigning sides to get THORN alliance to show up. If you use the arrows it corrupts it.
Curse has gotten stale. This
is far more entertaining. Test/CFC Plz come this way. We need gud fights.
401K had an alliance meeting that makes us sound not like pubbies. I'm not allowed to leak it until someone else does, though. Endie?
Are you disbanding?
As long as Wallpapers is there, I'm cool.
I hope the fact that a "worthless renter alliance" saved two timers with the assistance of the mighty IMPL against you was mentioned. Maybe we can get a 10% off deal on our next rent payment that Riverini was demanding in local lolol. Despite all the timers there was no real GF's as hoped, IMPL was farmed and Munnins were seen in space.
Looking forward to the next set of timers.![]()
1. Scalding Pass gudfites are in short supply. Most fights involve us killing some IMP-L battlecruisers, them warping off, Tengus briding in, us warping off. We determined that we did not have the numbers for Slowcats, and then we moved onto a frantic 2-day posting spree, exploring Tengu counters such as: Scorpion fleet, 100MN Proteii, our own Tengus, HML Legions (my idea), TWEED, warping Hellcats to 0, and Ishtars.
True wisdom came from n0th, however, and we decided that we needed more Muninns. Which is why...
2. Penif is right and we are recruiting anything with a pulse.
3. Also, we are having trouble fielding doctrines, because people still can't make ISK in Curse. I don't know the IQ of the people not running missions, but it must be really low if they're belt ratting. vOv
4. Yes, certain people do link fleets in LJ- local. nbs
who would have thought that people who don't know how to make isk in Curse also have trouble coming up with a counter to Tengus
So i really welcome any new entity in Curse, and Stevie you seem to have something to say in 401k, so here is some advice:
1. Man up and redeploy to G-0 (or h-adoc if you're scared, but tbh no reason to). Raiden./Gypsy/INIT. are busy elsewhere, we are p much n AT X/afk mode so now is the perfect opportunity to
a) cash out on those BPCs, since noone is bearing it up really. Running angel agents will easily shit out 120+ mil/h right now if you do it right.
b) educate your scrubs on how to deal with NPC 0.0 daily life shenanigans like undock blapping faggotry, scanning, cloaky camps/BO dropping etc.
Damn, do an alliance-wide effort to get everyone through the epic arc safely if you have to. Members will learn the neighbourhood, the AWA permacamp of 8-g, the faggot shithole that is K-Q and stuff like that. Also ~350mil for like 2 hours worth of running around in a frig is your first Abaddon + fit right there.
2. Dont just do IMP-L. There is Darkspawn. in the F-QQ pocket in Wicked Creek who are i think Gypsy pets - willing to pvp and reasonably bad. You can also always roam southern Provi in some kind of kitchen sink fleet and get fights.
It's still boggling my mind that a corp like Evolution could ever NOT have enough isk.
Dafuq, where's all the old world moolah?
I don't think they're poor, perhaps unwilling to share the pot.
all of this has happened before and all of it will happen again
Evolution is flying solo Sleipnirs everywhere, and we're gonna put our Muninn pilots in Lokis. Money is decidedly not our issue.
It's the ex-Giantsbane. corps who cry poor when they have to afford battleships and T2 ships.
Munins rock, as a side note lokis are better overall except the rof which is 2-3 more, and with 20-30munins you should alpha most things anyways. The loki is however a good replacement for a huginn.
Example: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13355115
Aside from the oracles which they came back in it was munins vs armor arty lokis, munins have faster ROF
Long live the munin fleet <3
Muhadin/Mordeth Aridhol - Origin. - Black Legion.
Stevie has little say in what 401k does.
1. I don't know why you think we're not deployed to curse, we're in LJ-.
a. Most people don't have the angel standings because they're bad.
b. scrubs will be scrubs.
2. We already looked at Darkspawn., they set their timers for RUS and we're primarily USTZ. Having 10 people online to deal with 90+ isn't exactly ideal.
Two deaths to Falcons today. What is this, Syndicate?![]()
Good job Midori..........
There seems to be some weird mistakening of 401K members with Thorn and Jagged.
Midori and Stevie: Both of you need to go assess who exactly you're referring to especially when looking at all of the aforementioned crimes as a collective.
At the end of the day, there is always a transition period when your players switch from region to region. Those that lived purely in null previously know not of how to do missions. Those that do have mission experience seem to not know how to repair that -10 they have to Angel Cartel. And those that know how to do the Angel Missions, know how to repair standings and/or have the standings are the ones who make their cash through market alts and mass invention and T2 production.
We've already taken steps for the individual member's pocket, but there will inevitably always be that one faggot who logs on once every three weeks and undocks in a Tempest to belt rat despite the neutral lurking about.
This conversation can continue with broad generalizations as we see fit but we all know that at the end of the day, the members described are the exception and not the rule.
For anyone who actually gives a shit:
401k has deployed to The Forge for bomber faggotry for ~week.
Alpha has declared for the second day in a row that he will no longer be running roams because 'people blob' when you camp gates in kitchensink bc's.
Drunk 'n' Disorderly have joined 401k/Thorn for fights in the area.
Some guy brought an armor talos to my tier 3/anti-support gang.
In zero/midori's defence, regardless of their makalu-esque stance, I offer lvl 4 missions out of g-0 for people a couple times a week and they tell me they make more isk belt ratting in lj-. vov
Just so you guys know that the elitist space guild, Evolution, is full of nice guys, we ran an alliance mate through the epic arc, escorting his Enyo in our Rifters.
We put a T1 Stabber in the ownzone, but then we died to an OP Vengeance.
Also, Drunk 'n' Disorderly got reset for threatening to reset us for not coming to defend our SBU's, about which we literally do not care.
THE UNTHINKABLES owned Init in GW every time we came through. At least that's what local said. And I always trust local.
We had some nice neighbours who taught us the error of our ways. Incredible how fast you can learn when you have competent reds in the same station. If you stopped running missions yourselves, you would be the best neighbours a poor semi-afk, bitter man could have. Just dock up Iamboss whenever I finally have some time to make isk.
I'll do anything for rep.
