Hello folks, this is my first post on Public Demands,

Recently, I was banned from Eve Online for e-stalking another Eve Online user (The Mittani), shortly after - I was banned from the Game and prevented from purchasing further accounts in the form of an IP and location ban. I have tried using a VPN (hotspot shield), but my new accounts get banned within hours of creating the account. I've even tried switching to a different computer while using the VPN - still did not work. Any suggestions on how I can find away to escape this IP/location ban and have the ability to play new accounts?

All advice is much appreciated,

I find this and this much funnier. The first one shows how fond he is of arbitrary dates when nothing happens, and the second one tells us that meltdowns are frecuent and just as sad, no matter the game.

I thought he was some sort of "network security guru" or something? What's this "location ban" shit? Just asking as an interested party who works in network security. If I could learn about this awesome technology I bet it would further my real life career quite a bit. Teach me, O wise spergmaster. Seriously though, there is such a thing as "IP location" but it's, well, IP-based and only goes down to the city level. It basically consists of a dataset of who-has-what 32 bit IP allocated to them at any given time (aggregated from WHOIS information.) As there is a constant run on the remaining 32 bit addresses this information changes quite often and such datasets are therefore considered generally unreliable.

I do think it's funny that he got banned for stalking mittens. I entertained the notion of stalking him back in the day but I settled on hiding outside Mazziliu's house in the bushes instead. The obvious choice was Angel of course but paying constant air fare back and forth to Limeyland wasn't in the budget.
