See, they're geniuses, because they decided to release a shit ending first and destroy all the goodwill they've built up with gamers since they started!

The multiplayer is a lot of fun by the way. Krogan sentinel eats a brute for breakfest and then takes a dump on an atlas.

This is the feeling (Lead + EP) I've had about it since I saw the ending. Fuck those two jerkoffs.

That's an easy one. To milk more money on the DLC.

I'm pretty suprised by that, thought they would have tried to cash in on it somehow.

With all the rage? BioWare is in some sense making history in regards to "reworking an already finished product's story to cater to its audience". (Mind you I use the word finished quite lightly and with a twinge of sarcasm)

The "additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes" worries me somewhat. While they might actually, you know, provide closure for the characters, that still won't address the basic shittiness of the ending and the nonsensical philosophies of the Reapers.

If you happen to buy the game after the 12th of April, you will have to pay.

There is some pretty serious tinfoiling going on in some of the game's foums and blogs.

The best one i heard (best because it is best tinfoiling, and its a GREAT idea) is the Indocrinated Shep ending.

Basically, the theory goes that Shephard has slowly been indoctrinated as time continues, due to his contact with the reapers.

This would actually be a really awesome ending if it were true, and due to internets leakage they would in theory withhold it, thus playing a massive trick on a rabid ME audience, and then getting massive kudos.

Its possible it could be true, i guess, leaving us to work ourselves into a rabid lather for a month or two before releasing the real red ending. It would be a coup, a real coup, and awesome artistic whatevers, but i don't think a company would have the stomach for it and i think that people who really believe this place too much faith in Bioware.

It's not true. Bioware has made repeated statements that shit all over it, essentially saying the ending we got is the ending that should be, but that we didn't ~understand~ it.

As a veteran of Eve, Night, I am sad that you reply to a post about metagaming and working us up into a rabid lather you use a press releasefrom the company as proof it is not true.

You should know better than to believe what is written on the internets

EA's only artistic vision is money, and the minute anyone forgets this they've become indoctrinated.

I'm actually not using press releases, people have talked to the team about this at various panels, etc. What we got was really what they wanted us to see, straight, no subtleties.

Friends (and friends of friends) who have worked for BioWare say it isn't going to blow us away, but it will at least give us a goddamn explanation of what in the flying fuck is going on.

So guys, I heard the DLC was going to cost $30 contrary to the $0 cost we were told. Also, it will feature Shephard blowing up in a spectacular rainbow with which he fertilizes the Universe to start back over. CANT WAIT!

I think I'll just look up a plot summary for this game, I can't find a torrent and I really can't be arsed with it anyway

Well, it didn't, but it did give us the option to tell Catalyst to stuff his shit, and while we fail to save ourselves, we stop the cycle.

Green Ending: Still illogical. Most advanced species needs dumb human to develop synthesis? Reapers could have done that 50k years ago on their own.
Red/Blue: Some things are explained better but both are still shit.
Refusal end: Never liked that one anyways.

I am a little bit disappointed by the Omega-DLC.
Coop-Multiplayer is still a lot of fun though.
