I was playing coward in pos making sure our Huginns had awesome webrange, so I can't give a full BR, but we had two shield triage. We sat on the station grid the entire time, pewing SW when they warped in and station when they warped out.
Once fighting was over we dropped supers to speed up station grind.
C0ven&SE showed up in ~70 tengu/scimitar fleet. NS. however commited carriers, while SW didn't.
Also RL fleet setup was a bit... innovative.
If one wants to believe in Local talk next stop is Esoteria.
Our alpha fleet just shot assorted RL BC's zerging into us on the station, we didn't really lose much due to scimi/chimera reps.
The SW tengu's kept their range, trying to kite our huginn's away. At one point they got to close, we managed to alpha about 10 tengu's and SW called it a day.
It's important to point out that numbers were very even, if not in favour od SW, but while Nulli brought 100+ mealstorms, RL decidecd to go with PUG bc'es and didnt even decide to undock carriers (fight was at the station).
They really need to put their shit togather and learn their lessons, since dispite all the spack talk they aren't an even enemy for Nulli. at this point. Especially when rest of SW is clearly in torpor and can't carry them with those numbers.
I agree its easy to look back and say they should have done A, B, C and well they should have. Everyone knew a war between nulli and ATAK was coming, the only question was how long before it would start. If i was in ATAK high-command i would have been stocking as many pvp ships as possible in storage and waiting. But welping kitchen sink fleets of BS and bc doesn't help in both ships and moral. Then second thing would have been coordinating with Stain much better so you force nulli to deal with t3 bcs/ tengus and bombers all at the same time.
but again hindsight is always better.

The tactic that SW/ATAK used is to send BC's at 0 while their Tengus snipe us at ~80-100km. The BC's pin us down on grid and make any re-warp effectively impossible until we clear out their BC blob. During the first TPAR timer we eventually had to yield the grid and reship because ATAK kept reshipping and SW eventually wore down our scimis.
This time we were prepared for that and brought in two triage chimeras. This kept all of our battleships (except those that broadcasted late, as usual) alive. At one point, ATAK BC fleet and tengus primed a Chimera, he got to half armor with 1/2 of his triage cycle left when they switched targets. We're not sure why the switched, its probable that had they kept on him he would have died. We finally got SW to withdraw from the field when they fucked up their anchoring and got 60km from our fleet, so our hugins were easily within triage rep range. We killed several tengus and Tek and they called it a day.
It was a good fight. ATAK ship doctrines and pilot skill (at sov warfare) leave something to be desired but to their credit, they constantly reship. Add in the professionalism of the SW fleet and it did challenge us, though this fight did not go in their favor at all.
Also we will not be pressing on into Esoteria, our members have a really bad habit of local smack, I apologize.
Then i guess question is, when will ATAK try to get TPAR back.
I wonder why don't you want to attack Esoteria, since SW will prolly keep assiting RL whenever they decide to fight back. Seems like a smart thing to do.
Southbloc politics, mostly. Kicking out a useless, degenerate neighbour is one thing. Invading into the heart of Stainwagon space? That's another thing and would be replete with all sorts of frenzied convo-slinging, three-hour negotiations on TS, etc., etc. Not to mention it would be a horribly exposed salient that is difficult to access. Anyway, RL will probably fall back to Stain more than they do Esoteria, and nobody has the patience to permacamp them there until they snap.
Hell, after the by-and-large disgraceful showing they've made during this entire one-week campaign...if their constituent corps have any pride, they'll probably do a fair amount of that snapping themselves.

There is no doubt in my mind about what should be done. SW knows, even understands and probably agrees, with our position towards Nulli. Vera made their bed, and now will have to sleep in it for what short time they have left. When WTF arrives we should be red to Nulli and red to VC, and then help SW clean up the aftermath and take back any sov that WTF has taken in Period Basis.
Keep in mind this is a unilateral move on WTFs part, there will be a much smaller (or even non-existent) bat phone for then to call.

Here's the story.
a) While we were helping AAA get their territory back Nulli were camping our systems. And we did not form up for -A- once or twice. We did it for weeks on end bringing 100 pilots or more back when our alliance was smaller than it is now. We spent countless hours in fleets, sometimes reshiping 3 times or more (I don't want to thing about the FCs who were primaried all the time)
b) After -A- got their space back we went ahead and evicted SYS-K from PB. The region we, Nulli and Vera are now was fought for by us with the help of SW. We have spent 2 weeks of long nights grinding on stations, poses and neuts (we did get some help from Vera from time to time - I remember 3 or 4 ocasions).
c) Nulli got their systems after Tero agreed to give it to them. SW ROL and A asked us if we want to give them the space, after we evicted SYS-K from PB, and we said ok.
d) Now these fuckers (their leadership) has the fucking nerve and balls to claim rights to XZ and PB, in the intrest of renting Delve most probably. Trust me SW are not happy with Nulli at all. -A- would have told them to fuck off a long time ago if Nulli hadn't come to their aid and kiss their ass (both chicks). All in all we got support from the entire coalition.

I agree...all im saying is... their core is in fact 3 corps....the same one that was in Stain in 2010...
and they promised to reconquer PB in future...that said...i believe they will not have that "power" with these 3 corps (about 400 members or less)... in 2010...they only got PB because SWagon helped them (even Vera was there to help).... and to be honest...2010 Stainwagon was way more powerful then the 2012 Stainwagon.

I, however, doubt that RL will lose all but 3 corporation. My guess is that they will lose/get rid of few more but still stay around 1000 chars. I also assume that they learned their lesson and will be able to provide both reasonable numbers and decent fleet comp shortly. On top of that old SW vets start to resub hearing about the war and lack of NAPs dispite SW itself and ROL.
It d be much easier if Nulli. were so kind to invade Esoteria or something, but i believe that things may get quite intresting soon enought
You're implying that S2N didn't clear this with Stainwagon before going ahead.

When you are heavly recruting you need some time (few weeks at least) to standardize your fleet, let people get ships stocked etc.
And when you are recruting recklessly you are also catching tones of spies (SW and C0ven had to fly in their own fleet bc of that) and false feeling of power since you have bigger numbers but they aren't as effective as ones you had before (i.e. if you had 500 and after a month you are 1000, you arent 3 times as strong. you probably aren;t even twice as strong).
All of it + underestimating of an enemy and torpor of allies led to that massive fuckup. No mistery here.
Since Stainwagon atm = SE+C0ven+ATAK...
And why should they? SE and C0ven didn't have 100 men online in months... combined. Even assuming that we may be a bit better than Nulli. there is only so much you can do with 70 people on the field :P
