This is terrible. The rep system can serve as guidelines to reasonably good posting for newer people like myself, by looking at who actually plus and/or negreps you. Instead, you don't really know if it is just people from your own coalition/alliance plusrepping you, or if its actually because you wrote something that people would like to read more often. The main reason is to prevent revenge negrepping, which is pathetic and undermines the system competely, especially when new posters negrep a person with higher rep power who takes it upon themself to nuke the other person. Discouraging circlejerks, which do still go on, is an added bonus

I too do not like the change with rep viewing.
I often get told "Hey man just use rep as a mod tool, we'll mod ourselves." But it isn't really modding yourselves when you guys just go "Oh that dude repped me because we're alliance mates". Now you have to deal with the uncertainty of if what you're doing is actually good or not. Maybe it will mean rep means something? We'll see!

I don't really care who circle jerks one another til the green flows out like blood from a hooker's penis, I enjoy knowing who repped and negrepped me. Besides, it's easy to see who's I also really enjoy when people send me PMs because I wrote something particularly nasty or positive as a rep comment.
Now I can't communicate with it and receive a response, so it's mostly just a useless appendage and could be replaced with a like button.
Anyway it's easy to see who circlejerked who you just check and see if all the green rep came from the same people and all the neg from loads of people and oh wait I can't do that anymore so now it's harder to tell who got circle jerked.
Give me back my dang information dang it.

Admittedly I have noticed now that people can negrep anonymously their negrep messages are a lot more obscure, for example 'fuck you nerd' and 'ahahahaha you stupid nigger.' I think it takes some of the art out of negrepping - it's meant as discipline for a bad post, right? And, in theory, I'm supposed to improve my posting based on the negrep message, right? Otherwise, why would it be mandatory to include a message with a negrep (as opposed to a +rep, where a message isn't needed)?

Everynow and then I say " I don't give a fuck and just let the sperg flow " followed by a rep farming session. Its a pretty fun game to play. With that said I rarely negrep anyone unless they are absolutely horrid or make cheap personal attacks at established poster's. I find myself + repping Endie & Mpozy more than anyone else.

When I switched from fail to PL I was at 5500ish rep thats 7500 total rep. Im now @ 9100 only 4600 rep gained since I joined PL.
IIRC you changed your posting style back when you were suiciding drakes into PL in Delve/Querious. I distinctly remember giving you all of my +rep when you were making those image macros.
They are only asking for taxi drivers from what I hear and my last car I threw it of a cliff with me in it (no joke). Also I don't think there's a position for lazy people with passive income with the I work when I want as their life motto.
