At Atlas's absolute best which I think was the end of 09, the alliance actually had the awesome problem of having so many fucking capitals that we had 1 fleet for dreads 255, one fleet for carriers which was just under 200, and then a sub cap fleet of I think barely 150.
The alliance followed it's most vocal members, Bobby and White Aero love caps, I mean who doesn't? And of the 10 corps in Atlas at that time I think 6 of us were 'capital focused corps' where we help our members get into carriers and dreads. It showed in those fleets, during the invasion and kicking of RA people were coming out of the damn woodwork to get into alliance fleets to nuke RA.
Corps that have since disbanded or merged together were even fielding fleets of 15 to 20 dreads solo, I think I remember TASE taking out towers in Insmother with their own dreads, as well as I think Everflow having it's own cap blap fleet taking out small and medium towers on Cadium moons for their corps.
A bunch of those corps merged together and formed Burning Napalm in NC. when Atlas died in such a retarded way. Can't say I blame them, when they first did it they had 200 members in corp and something like 40 members online pretty consistently. But like any corp in EVE over time, people got bored, people got married and real life gets in the way. I think they still have better then average participation but this info on them is also like 6 months old.

Good fight
Congrats RZR and Test. I thought we had you guys when we jumped on you and you were on extreme close range. But you manoeuvred way better then we and what could have been a slaughter to your side turned in to a nice victory.
My memory of this fight is not the best since it was highly chaotic and fast paced and I was rather nervous considering we were outnumbered by 50-100 dudes and they were right on top of us the whole time.
So at 16.00 Eve Time Disto broadcasted to Honeybadgers that RZR were running an alphafleet and shortly after another broadcast went out for a PL drake fleet forming also. Inter's alphafleet topped out at about 150 dudes (60% RZR, 40% TEST) after a longish form up with about 20 logi and decent Maelstrom numbers. We cynoed out from KFIE to southern Delve and began burning to Period Basis. I don't remember exactly our destination but I think it was the TRIBE system of 8KR9-5. Our TRIBE scout reported their 200+ man geddon/baddon fleet pulling up drones and heading our way and Inter had us hold on the F-M1FU outgate.
Gathering the fleet we jumped into VR-YIQ and began to brawl with them on the gate. Their fleet was very close for most of the fight as we changed alignment several times trying to burn off. We immediately began blapping our way through geddons and baddons alike with the occasional TFI or mega going down too. About one in ten of our primaries would catch reps and I remember one of our logi dudes mentioning that we needed to broadcast sooner to catch more of our guys, although in retrospect our logi carried the day for us. Anyway they kept us bubbled and chased our maels around the field until we had killed 100+ battleships and they decided to reposition. Bouncing on grid they came back down in front and slightly above us but lost more dudes and bailed very quickly, at which point it turned into an effort to kill Cobra2k's proteus.
Overall a great stomping.
After looting some we heard the drake fleet were fighting RA's alpha/rokh/shield fleet and burned a few jumps to catch them. They were about ~140 off the gate in 1-2J4P so Inter warped us to a wreck, but our fleet got badly split up by bubbles in the way. This turned out to be entirely inconsequential as they to got stomped and much smug was had.
Props to Inter's relaxed and very pro fcing/target calling.

There's nothing worse than having a good idea for a post not being good enough to pull it off :negative:
So, Montolio advertising for -A- pets to come live in new TEST space for free. Anyone take that plunge yet?
Spaceship friends don't let other spaceship friends madpost.
I've sent this out in a few places, figured I'd include it here as well:
Renters of Against All Authorities and Red Alliance cast off your shackles and rise up against your oppressors. Test Alliance has vast amounts of unused space that we will let you use for free. This is a call to all renters in the south, contact Montolio. We can help each other and you don't have to pay me for the privilege like you do with Against All Authorities.
Members of TEST, open your homes and hearts to these poor souls. "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."
This is no scam friends, view the activity maps on these newly conquered regions. I have far too much space and I need to get the indexes up anyways. Come make money with us, fly with us, for free. No CTAs, no overlords.
Did you send that translated in spanish to the sexy wallpapers?
Give wallpapers a region:P
Also Dsan?

So here is what I have discovered about this thread. You know its a bad situation for AAA & co. When even NoSpinZone Perseus Kallistros has even stopped posting.
PS. You know what sucks about being TrojanMan?
Even when you do a good job you get a load of jizz inside you
It takes a special kind of coward fuck to not even fight in drakes.
on the plus side we killed the shit out of that shadow serpentis warp disruption battery
thank you TEST for carrying to torch forward
DAMN YOU WALLPAPERS. Damn you to hell.
I withdraw my brolove.
Fuckers broke my heart.
I would have to guess that the biggest reason motivating people is easy for TEST and hard for AAA has little to do with affording their ships or getting good motivation from the FCs. It has to do with demographics, it would seem.
Look at the corps that matter in AAA. It's mostly older corps with low participation from bitter vet pilots that spend 90% of their time playing other games. They have been through 5+ years of losing and winning big blob wars, and most of them just stay with their corp because they have friends there.
If you look at TEST, there are hundreds of newer players who are still wide-eyed and excited about 0.0 warfare. Best of all, they are starting in an era when the servers actually allow you to bring 2-3 friendly fleets to fight the enemy without shooting yourself in the foot, something that was not true in 2005.
The future belongs to the alliances that can draw in new players, and in a way this has always been true, but it's more true than ever in the era of good servers and less-shitty net code.
Gotta hand it to TEST, they make you WANT to login. Even a bitter ass vet like me, who's computer is on it's last legs, signs on and does what I can. DTHI used to be 291 members before some unfortunte directorship choices almost killed us, we got back up to 120 within the last month and tonight for the 49- defense we had 22 people online. Even with alts it was still 16 'real' people that were online and getting into fleet, asking for fleet ships, and some people I haven't seen in 0.0 since last decade. But they like it here, they like that if they fuck up, horribly even, no one is going to be breathing down our necks to 'kick them from corp' because 'our killboard will suffer!!!!'. Even guys in their 40's and 50's are logging back, hearing about how TEST works and suddenly their back in the game playing again. These aren't guys that are looking for ratting grounds or some shit either, these are guys sitting around 100+ mill sp's that are so bitter that they have a permanent scowl on their face from the taste of lemon in their mouths.
I admit some of it is me calling old friends back, but I couldn't do that in the last few alliances, they looked where DTHI was at and said 'oh come on man, you guys are better then that' and I had to try to sell them on a pipe dream. With TEST I can get them onto the services page alone, tell them about shit for about 20 minutes and their like "wait, TEST isn't all stuck up jackasses over everything?" And suddenly old bros are back.
I know it's not even close to our record of members, but we've quietly been retiring pilots that haven't signed on for months and we're almost out of people to kick. Only 5 pilots on the entire membership haven't been on in the last 2 weeks, and you can love DTHI or hate us bitterly, but for a corp that's about to hit it's 7th year in game that's pretty decent. I know many older corps of bitter vets that would cream themselves to see that kind of activity.
And that's what makes TEST interesting, I'm 'trying' to be objective here. Obviously every alliance has it's problem and bullshit, but I haven't felt 'this' kind of energy in an alliance in almost 4 years. They get ya on, they make ya laugh, they make yea feel good and you have a damn good time. I hate to say it, but many people in the game have forgotten this stuff, TEST hasn't yet. It feels good and I hope to hell it lasts a few years.

i remember when test first made an alliance to take random terrible systems people dont care about
its the start of things
I just got banned in the middle of a huge fight because I said the word "nigga" in local. Midfight ban disconnect cost me the sweet satisfaction of knocking -A- turdbags into the dirt. Fight went from a drakefleet to Rokhs and I'm missing out on what is probably the most exciting fight of the South campaign. My butt is furious.
[05:28:32] Damienwhat Solette > friend said, if only they didn't have those 2 falcons there, i said they have 3, and he said that just says they don't want to do anything fair, just want to be dicks about it like not normal dicks but big black huge cocks
A very large fight just occured in D-3.
There are a lot of dead tengus here.
I wonder who lost.

No, I think eve-kill is broken.
I'd say this is more accurate -> http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=9666
It's still missing 2 TEST carrier losses and a few Tengu losses. Most accurate BR is probably on TEST kb -> https://kb.pleaseignore.com/?a=kill_...&kll_id=505697
tl;dr TEST/PL supers/caps shooting RA SBUs in D-3, caps get dropped by RA Tier 3s, -A- tengus join in sometime later then Honeybadger drakes/Rokhs come in after that
Word on the street is that Makalu abandoned his fleet, running away and leaving his grunts to die. I'm starting to think that -A- fleets look like this: http://i.imgur.com/N1KQW.jpg
Listen, -A-, if you guys keep dying in droves like this, I'm going to have to start fitting expanded cargoholds onto my rokh, and not bringing cap boosters.
I only came in at the end - bringing a 100man rokh fleet to the fray for the last 20 minutes or so, because i was asleep for the rest. A brawl with more blood than, well, a bloody thing.
BRDOC reports seem near unreadable to me. They don't even report on the isk war *pounds desk*
The new KB software that TEST's killboard is running is manually sortable, aka: rob3r can go in and assign sides to different factions, then it looks normal, readable, and interesting, and lets us know about the isk war.
WE DIDNT SUICIDE RIFTERS FOR NOTHING SIR.
*edit: holy shit it's been done, check it: https://kb.pleaseignore.com/?a=kill_...&kll_id=505727
So now that that's done,
it looks like a fairly even fight by the numbers, less for the HBC when you consider that some of those were capitals that end up not having much of an effect on mobile subcap fights.
Good on -A- for standing up and fighting.
no. seriously.
come on guys they need the encouragement. We don't want to have to invade catch to get fights, this is the shit we want. STAND UP AND CLAP
