Greetings and Salutations,

So I thought it would be good idea to put a thread together in post-haste. ITT please feel free to mash keys to talk about what you liked or didn't like about Fanfest 2012. Ok lets be honest it will be 2-3 things we like followed by 30 pages of Ablargh blargh gurgle gurgle bloo bloo bloo. Yes I know there is a thread on who is Going to Fanfest. Please use that to pontificate on which gay bathhouse your party will rendezvous at. So without further adieu I turn this thread over to you gentle readers please [s]post[/s] shitpost away.

Before I go.

My 3 Likes so far.

1 Orbital bombardment literally changing hearts and minds CCP gj.

2 The WH (euro) corp Alliance presentation.

3 Sleeping through DJ's presentation

Dust seemed a little slow paced imo, maybe its just because they arent rly good @ playing it yet, but the Orbital is like SEXY,

worst part by far is i missed the entire alliance leadership panel cause of GF agro, good shit shes gone to bed so i can watch the replays now.

There was also a post on r/eve with some guy complaining that there should be rules in place so no one gets too smashed on the panels. Hands down though, the eve-o forums have been hilarious so far.

I'm surprised that mittens was able to give his presentation when was bolton trying so hard to suck him dry and somehow they didn't manage to start puking all over each other. At least I got noted for my exceptionally thin semen and yet again half of the test slides was my work (credited to myelinated). I can't wait to see the eveoconomst talk about how hard incursions fucked the game. Also the eveo forums are all straight edge quality posters right now.

I think I'm thinking of the right person then, I just remember one of them had a sad affair for a beard and a penchant for interrupting the one guy asking about why he hated small gang warfare, and got indignant when the guy asking questions did it in return.

And yes, Belgium fits, since they have french as one of their languages.

EVE uni's presentation wasn't very interesting.
DNS's presentation was neigh unwatchable.
3 of the other presenters were cfc members recapping previous fanfest's presentation and patting themselves on the back over the north.
The Norwegian(?) presenter had an interesting spin, but the songs went on too long.

The wormhole nerd had a more interesting story and didn't hide the fact that he is a kissless geek. Even though his presentation had too many image macros and fads, he had something ~different~ to present.

The best thing about fanfest 2012 was clearly to see the drunk-as-fuck Michael Bolton being removed from the premises after the dinner by security.

The worst thing about fanfest 2012 were the last 3 speakers of the alliance panel. Bolton was too drunk to even stand properly (was getting worse minute for minute, especially after the cameras were off), the DNS guy behaved like a special snowflake while he was trying to sound remotely important, and The Mittani just read his walls of text off his PowerPoint-presentation nobody even gave a fuck about because it was simply retarded. Maybe you could see all the people leaving the room as soon as the panel was over. It was literally like watching three 16 year old highschool dropouts sharing their first sixpack of Bud Light.
