Authenticity is a null concept when talking about "curry". It's essentially a British food, and one thing it has in common with other British concepts is that no one can usefully define what it is, but everyone knows it when they see it (see also: parliamentary democracy, constitutional monarchy, cricket, being a gentleman, pubs) Also I prefer Indian food to chinese any day of the week.

So I was on FA comms and Kwark Uk and BBQFTW were on comms. Zagdul invites them to join FA for what has to be the 20th time, they say fuck it and join FA. They make their intentions obvious about awoxing but mainly joked about Mordus Angels and FCON. Kwark Uk talks about how is he is better FC than mister vee. A GSF diplo was present the whole time, and it seemed like no one really gave a shit. The whole thing was an obvious joke/troll from the beginning. I guarantee you those amok. guys are going to be irritated considering the peacetime reimbursement on Cynabals is about 100mil short of being ~good enough~

Zag will pickup the tab on those losses, because he is a good guy. He knew what would happen, he just wanted to have some fun. Don't shit on Zagdul for keeping people on their toes.

Actually, amokdot is one of several corps in GSF that do corp reimbursement on top of what the alliance does. They'll be fine.

TBH - Hot or spicy foods are easy: It's a race to the most of XXX spices. Hell: I add X parts of "Fury" Spice Y as an ingredient and it will burn your tongue off or make you wish for a glass of water. Doesn't make the dish necessarily good.

The more bland foods that still retain some subtle hint of an "ethnic" flavor . . . . OK . . . And won't set your mouth on fire . . . but still good. I'm thinking of a number of Hungarian goulashes (If you want a hearty meal that is still incredibly tasty and filling). Or Paella dishes (Personal favorites because seafood dishes are the best thing ever).

Even simple steaks: It's the gauge of the steak that really makes it great. Any seasonings are typically there to make up for flaws in the aging / preparation. And if you tell me warmer than medium-rare you have not tasted the steak!

The targets / scan res won't matter if you're shooting structures or other capital ships, and doing it this way instead of some arbitrary "can only target other caps" restriction still lets you frantically cannon away at a hictor after a minute or so of locktime

Dreads can already track battleships and battlecruisers under those conditions, they'll even eat AHACs alive if they're painted and properly webbed (needs 2-4 90% webs though). But in that respect the change is great, Titans will now need a support fleet that's actually tailored to allow capital guns to hit subcaps. So they'll still dominate the field, but the support fleet rellies on their presence for DPS and won't function well without it. Under those circumstances you should be able to get some good dps against subcaps with fighterbombers too, which should prove interesting.

Besides, while Raiden have used their titans as a trumph card for a while now, they're still among the more competent alliances around, and I'm sure they'll manage to adapt. Though clearly they'll either have to start bringing allies and larger blobs to the field more often or lose a good portion of their tech/space.

Fielding fancy tanked-up vindicators as support in small/mid scale fights where you can expect reps to hold for at least a while is one thing; fielding them in large scale fights where they're gonna get one-volleyed by 200 angry Maels is a rather less attractive proposition.

Yeah, I figured that'd be the case in all honesty; its why I think its a 'decent' change. I wouldn't want to be a titan pilot in Tidi though, like 5 minutes to lock anything smaller than a carrier.
