just because of slot layout the brick HML drake will still have similar EHP to a plated harbinger while putting down similar DPS as auto cane. except it will be out past lockrange. switching over to HAMs, which will be very much viable since they'll reach out to linked point range w/ the range bonus, it will put out DPS competitive with a fucking 3-gyro tempest and do so at roughly a third more than the AC pest's effective range. oh and they'll have absolute damage type selection.

clearly, this is a huge nerf and a fantastic idea of CCPs that will absolutely not backfire.

edit: it will be a strong nerf to the dualweb HML nanodrake's EHP (will be somewhere under a standard cane in raw EHP) but they'll still bend any close-fit BC or HAC over and fuck them in virtually every scenario.

We roamed to VFK after shooting a tower, hung out on station waiting for goons to form up, killed a few dudes who undocked/warped in. Then when they mass undocked and ended up bouncing to 20 or so of our nagas we dunked on them so hard.

Not like you played much even when you had a computer, but Origin has actually benefited from this move considerably. We rolled all the BL corps into Origin so if we decide to reform BL, it will be stronger than it was before because no one from Origin will need to deal with opinions from any other corps. We had a roam 2 nights ago where 34 Origin dudes went and dunked on 130 goons in VFK and last night the same thing happened with equal numbers with Elo at the helm.

Elo is also happier than I've seen him in a while now that he doesn't have to deal with administration at an alliance level and is preening like a peacock from leading dudes to ownage. There was, of course, the welp a few nights ago, but literally every BS we lost was due to tracking titans. Before those came in, we shredded PL recons and scimis to pieces before they had a chance to respond with conflag at >10km.

The biggest adjustment for us has been culturally, but then that's why we've kept our internal jabber and forums and can look at corp chat for Aoko's porn links instead of fleet chat for pony porn links or pictures of naked women with no nipples and no vagina (why would anyone search for this?).
