what happend... Goons comited ~450 ships to kill a tower but getting the fleets killed in the proces and then losing the newly SMA tower ?

That's a awful lot of Tier 2/3 BCs being fielded by both sides and I don't see either side attempting a bombing run on the opposing support fleet. does Tidi tend to fuck up bombing runs ?

From what I have heard (came late to the fight)

We have been repping some towers today and was slacking towards the last ones comming out.

Goons reacted quick on it and got in system before all allies fleets where ready (evoke, rdn, init). To put it bluntly; We were slow on that one.

They manage to kill the tower before we got in. RDN in Rokh (cause of the tornado), Evoke (tier 3), INIT (drake to hold down shit) and NC. (to counter Drakes). Fight starts and we manage to kill the goon tower again and replace it with a new small with better timer. While doing all that pewpew is happening all over system. Results linked above. Everyone is trying to get to everyone.

Think we manage to hold them down a bit and use our fleet counters pretty well. Not to sure on that final count.

Team blue (rdn, evoke, init, ncdot) was a bit to slow and it backfired. Came back pretty well and saved the day. All techs saved. New stuff repped.

those tornado fits are terrible as are 1400's in tidi and we aint in 2008 anymore dorothy

mr vee whipped them up in 10s while eft warrior because he heard someone say 250k lock range

Goons sorely missed DBRB. The only bloc-FCin game who can welp 200 Maels/Drakes/whatever and get 200 more to x up the next day as if nothing happened. This isn't a back-handed compliment either, boat is a good man.

the 50% tornado loss was because of a small fuckup from a vital fleet member who didn't tell vee that he died. but no excuses, the 50% that survived are good players (because they realized immediatly after landing that sth went wrong and smashed their align and mwd buttons like buttons are to be smashed) - the other 50% thought that it's important to make sure to get on a single rapier (i think) killmail than ***SURVIVING LIKE ELITE PVP***

i like this fleetconcept, you can alpha carriers, you are fast as fuck, you can't die if you aren't a complete imbecile and there is a guaranteed 5000km congaline some time during the fight.. i think it's pretty boss :>

yeah we had 150 tornados and one drake fleet (at first). we went there to brawl a bit but suddenly all got serious business with the dead tower. the cfc (of course) never had a chance to win this engagement because the NC has a truly superior spy network which allowed them to counter the massive forces we did field that day very easily. on the other hand, this titan brickwall really sucks and i don't like it very much.

edit: srs question. i think it's pretty much nowhere near possible to keep a coalition like the cfc spy free, is it doable for smaller entities like raiden, nc. and pl to be pretty much on the save side?

PL doesn't seem to have any obvious spy problems, but an entirely spy free alliance is unlikely - you'd pretty much have to limit membership to people who know each other IRL only~
