Kite a tech tower for 4h. kill some bcs while losing 50 bs, shoot PL tech, lose 40 duders at said tech, follow PL through a wormhole, lose 40 duders on other side of wormhole, watch PL jump back thru wormhole and colapse it, travel 35 jumps home while PL ends the kite.

I tell drakes lets go roaming and we follow with 110 dudes. PL tries to run back to venal in the worm hole and it collapses trapping half the fleet.

Pl then reinforces the tower for vily (vily asked us to leave it unreinforced as they might shoot it for us) and another fun night was had

Dr. Sneakylove. Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the Wormhole.

We formed Tidicats and headed north to stop the goons from kiting 2 Raiden Tech towers. By the time Init, Raiden, NCdot and us formed and got moving the first pos had already been kited with a US timer. The entire coalition got moving for the second tower, which was 4 hours into a kite. PL waited on a titan in PF- (waving at our lovely tech tower while we were there). Being in Tidicats, we have to wait for both sides to commit before we can join the fight. Unfortunately Init is dumb, and Raiden seems to have caught the dumb from them. Instead of fighting on the friendly pos, they committed to a fight in a safespot, leaving us no way to warp in after the cyno in said safespot died. We bridged into the system and sat on our hands while trying to get a warp in. By the time we finally got a ping off the fight it was going very bad for our friends. We hurried the warp in off the fight and payed for it in oracles. We landed 70km from the mael blob, which as you can imagine, went bad. While burning off we lost 10 dudes to random mael fire, as 2 maels can pop a oracle. Then things turned...

We warped out and regrouped... warped back in on a ping then down to the fight and killed a handful of maels. At this point All our mates in drakes were dead and we were forced to warp off to a random PL tech tower, (i mean, its hard not to come across a random PL tech tower in venal, wolololol). The fight is over at this point right? :dbrb: Boat warps his drakes onto our pos, thinking we were in a safespot. We laugh for a bit... then realize, if we burn out of the other side of the pos, we can blap and they can't do shit. We burn out while our pro dictors bubble the drakes. Lemme tell you how fast Tachs burn thru drakes. After 20 or so drakes died, Vily wapred the maels in to save his bros, we burn back into the POS like cowards, only to see the maels land in the drake bubbles, also out of range. We burn back out and pop 3 or 4 maels before they finally get out. We spend a bit of time trying to line up drive-bys with no joy.

So now, we are trapped in system, goons covering the gates... the call we all fear goes out... "find us a wormhole." Flashbacks to rohk thunderdome inside a class 1 with no way out, but luck is with us this time. A null to null WH is located, and it comes out in the drone regions, 9 jumps from out titan. We sperg in local peace out thru our wormhole. On the other side we burn off the WH (which has a nice t1 large bubble on it from scurd renters) and wait. They probe it, land on the WH but align out. We give up, go one jump on our way to freedom, land on a gate with like 10 t1 large bubbles only to hear manny tell us that the goon drakes have jumped thru the WH and are giving chase. We burn thru the mass of bubbles, get ourselves on the other side of them from the goon in gate and wait. DBRB doesn't disappoint and warps straight into the bubbles. Unbelievable he turns on MWD's and burns straight at 50 tidi cats shooting EM. Que another 30 drake loses. We play a bit of cat and mouse around the system then it hits us. The WH from venal is still there, and has its mass reduced by half. If we could jump back thru it, it would collapse, stranding dbrb 30 jumps from home. Someone runs some quick math (props to whomever it was, he was spot on) and tells us that we'll only get 3/4ths of the fleet thru. Shadoo tells the tired euros to stay behind and we jump most of the tidi's back to venal and proceed to end the kite by reffing Raiden's tech right under goon's noses. It gets a beautiful EU timer and we fuck off home. The best part is that our EU bros arrive on the titan for the bridge home at nearly the same time as the rest of the fleet. We all arrive home with DBRB still 25 jumps from VFK.
