As most of you have probably noticed right now, with RA pets gone or defeated, and Omist and Teneferis cleaned up, the area around us is sort of lacking when it comes to fights. Sure fountain roams our way every now and then, and we get plenty of kills there, but mindless fun and games is not a way to get ahead in life. So I hoped you enjoyed your 3 or 4 week break (I can’t tell whether to count the week spent breaking WTF and Friends as part of the break or not, i'm thinking yes), because starting this Wednesday we will be deploying North.
For those of you who are unaware of what’s going in EVE, right now there is a war going on between Goon block and Raiden Block(RDN/ev0ke/init/others). Lots of fights, lots of structures being hit on both sides, it’s about as back and forth as war’s can be in EVE these days. The fighting is focused in Branch and Tenal, and we will not … be helping either side out what so ever. We will definitely show up to the fights to pew pew who ever is within range of our guns, but we will be doing a variety of things up north.
Basically it’s better if I list the things we will be shooting and who owns them, as it’s quite a few:
- We will be hitting any tech moons around us with no prejudice really, but a specific target will be the RA and RA pet tech moons, as that directly helps our bro’s down south out (keep fighting the good fight).
- We will be having some fun in Intrepid Crossing, because they betrayed Solar, in a most unhonourable way, and nothing offends us more than lack of space honor. IRC are well known for showing up with good numbers to defend their space even for the slightest intrusions, so between roaming and RF’ing a few things, this will provide us some good fights and hopefully good fun (read:kills). Hopefully IRC will retain their honour, as space honor is one of the more priceless resources that are hard to replenish without more honouorable actions, such as fighting us.
- Like said above, we will be frequently flying up to venal/branch/tenal to shoot at goons and raiden whenever we feel like it. Sometimes we might bring a large fleet and try to get in thick of it, sometimes we might bring just bombers, or a small roaming gang to camp for reinforcement straglers. The beauty of it is, we don’t have any vested interest one way or the other in who wins (as far as alliance strategic goals are concerned, I don’t care who you hate more

). This means we are free to experiment in those fights how ever much we choose, and can pull out of the fight whenever we feel like it. Should be a lot of roaming fun as well.
- And the 4th and final target up in the north, so sweet it gets a space seperating it from the rest. Controlled chaos has moved to geminate to rest and get back on their feet.

According to their alliance recording, they will be getting those two constellations surrounding that system. Personally I think it is reason enough to go North just to see the reaction Sage and the rest of his alliance will have

.
- Groups will also be getting into full gear up north, and there will be plenty of Black Ops and roaming to do up there as well.
I know that it sounds like we will just be doing a little bit of everything, and it may be kind of hard to see exactly how we fit up there, so let me explain it to you in another way (this may be a totally illrelevant stretch, but I had fun with it.)
It’s all very similar to the Madonna halftime show that happened during the Super Bowl last night. If you didn’t see it, go youtube it later, and next time make sure to watch the championship game of the most popular sport in the world. Till you see it, basically during a song when both Nicki Minaj and Madonna were on the stage, trying to share the limelight, MIA came out. She had no business being up there, and during here 15 second verse, managed to rhyme hits with tricks, and then proceeded to flip off the world while saying, “I don’t give a shit” with just enough auto tune to let everyone know she wasn't lying. So to draw a comparison, RDN is Madonna trying to show the rest of EVE that they still have what it takes to rock, even though they are old, no longer attractive, and move awkwardly and painfully trying to do basic dance moves. Goons sent DBRB’s gigantic ass onto stage to try and show RDN that just talking loudly and making strange noises and faces to get attention actually does work, and lands you a sweet job FC’ing lot’s of fleets. We are then gonna show up on stage, spit some ill rhymes and then tell everyone to get fucked as we burn out of bubbles and warp off, cause we can, cause we will not care which side wins those fights between RDN and Goons.
So on to stuff you actually need to know:
Move Times and Fleet Comps:
The move will start on Wednesday, this means you should start whoring as much isk as you can between now and the first move up. The actual system we are moving to will be held for a few days till we need to start letting more than just the corp leadership know. We will be moving a majority of the ships via carriers, but geddons will be moved with actual manual move full geddon fleets to save room, and to give you guys a way to get your actual clones up there. You won’t need everything, here is a list of the fleet comps we will be bringing:
- Geddons
- Nagas
- Arty Canes
- A-hacs
- Thorn Bombers (AB stealth bombers, fits will be posted up soon, but basically they are AB bombers with torps, will explain more later)
Be on the look out for some minor tweaks to fleet comps (just a possible module or two), which if they happen would be announced when the thorn bombers get posted.
Obviously you should bring whatever logi or other support ships you can, especially rooks for the a-hac fleet, those are crucial to the concept. Do not however, buy any new ships in C3N, as our deployment area will be seeded (mostly fitted ships on contract) quite nicely as it is very close to Jita. If you want to help seed whatever is needed on market, feel free to do so. You can help with public contracts as well, but since we can see those and control them much easier, know that any ridiculous gouging of pilots will be dealt with.
SRP
We will be continuing the SRP on deployment, and even expanding it to more ships, however this comes with a major stipulation. We still have very limited funds for the SRP, and our deployments are usually a mix between people who can fund themselves and last a while, and between people who rat for a good portion of their isk and eventually run out while on deployment. I know your corps help with this some, but the SRP will be expanded to cover other main ships (the actual percentage paid back yet to be determined.), but the program will be predominantly for people who actually need the ships replaced because they are low on isk and having trouble making more isk. If you can afford to replace your own losses consistently please do so, the SRP will run as long as it can but once it runs out of isk its gone. If we grab a decent amount of tech then we might be able to poor some money into it, but for the mean time this is the best solution. Just be decent about it and use your best judgment, don’t starve yourself not claimin SRP, but don’t abuse it, there are people who will need that money badly in 2 or 3 weeks.
stuff to cover:
- Shooting both sides, IRC, wtf, RA etc.
- Tech moons, etc. etc.
- fleet concepts
- Moving
- Duration
- SRP
Ops, Groups:
UNLESS WE HAVE COMPLICATIONS MOVING, OPS WILL START UP ON FRIDAY, WITH MAJOR OPS BEGINNING ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. The ops will be pretty consistent and in both time zones. Thanks to thorn fleet, we will always have something that we can potentially fill our time with, but even that needs to be paced. During the down time between ops, there will be a decent amount of time for our new groups to take out roams and black ops fleets. If you have no read the groups post, please do so and see if you want to sign up for any. We are still setting up a few moderators and the forums, but the groups will be fully functional by the time we start moving.
The roaming groups will be wanting to run fleet comps that are not any one of the alliance wide fleet comps. If you want to get ships down for those roaming gangs, it should be quite easy through corp because of the proximity to Jita, but to help out with anything that slips through the cracks, we will also be setting up a channel for Jump Freighter pilots to chill in. Hopefully through that channel, you will be able to jump in and setup a courier contract from jita to our staging system if you were unable to get your stuff moved some other way.
C3I:
Having a lot of scouts and cyno’s all over the north will be absolutely crucial for us. The enemies up north can all form very quickly and move out in seconds, and we will need to have eyes everywhere to know when this is happening, as well as cynos spread around so we can do our own rapid forming and ganking. If you have the time or characters to contribute to C3I group, please do so, as they are the most important part of the alliance most the time. C3I is also a great way to break into the FC group, as we are never going to look for fc’s that have never helped us out in the support role at all.
Finale:
And that’s pretty much the gist of it. It should be a shit ton of fun, as well as a lot of isk to possibly be made, and more Controlled Chaos tears to be harvested. As always with our deployments, ratting in the pocket will not be allowed, deployments are mandatory. We will actually have a few decent isk making options near by, if you absolutely have to do so, so just keep that in mind. The deployment will last anywhere from 3-5 weeks or maybe even more if it’s going really well (no reason to not take tech if you can take more tech right? hopefully it comes to that). The main thing is we will be mostly on our own, except for HUN’s and Vcruz, they will be there

.
So this is a good chance for us to go around and do what we want, fuckin bitches and making money. See you guys up there.
