Not really. The skill is with the FC and possibly one or two scouts. With this new change the rest of the fleet can be pretty much afk until the time to bomb, press f1 and warp away. With the old mechanics at least the whole fleet had to be somewhat on the ball and paying attention. This just dumbs down the majority of the play for the 99%, slowly killing eve.

If you could post some more details numbers on how much cash you think XIX make from renters and their fees you would get some mad reps, no troll, i bet a lot of people are interested. Since 500b a month is what you get if you have 70ish tech moons, and only 1 alliance hold that sort of income atm.

I did this a couple of weeks ago, internally, but for RA. If you enquire about renting an RA system you will get sent their system price list in spreadsheet form, and while the prices for rented and alliance systems are blanked out, and although checking it against dotlan over a couple of weeks or so shows that it lags somewhat, you can see the prices brackets for each security class, as affected by belts, anom properties, stations etc. Conservatively, allowing for sweetheart deals, failed rent payments when people duck out on awox bills and the like, I reckoned that even at that point in a somewhat shaky war they were pulling in a conservative 290-340 billion per month from rental, only counting the systems on that sheet and not counting for any exclusivity deals within RA or anything rented outside of Red Citizens. Given that it was largely spread across shitty parts of Scalding Pass, Insmother, Wicked Creek etc that's a decent slice of cash.

I'll try to find what I did with the link to that sheet and repost it so people can do their own guesswork.

They were balanced before CCP thought it was fine to change the mechanic where cloaked ships de-cloak each other. Now it doesn't take much skill or coordination to run a large number of bombers in a fleet because they can all literally use the same warp-in and the exact same range.
