Wait did we actually bomb something successfully for once? The fuck?
I shot a station and a TCU today.
It was fun.
HardinSalvor was originally FCing, when he got back he had to go for a while and iso could only stay for so long so I basically emergency-formed like 30 bombers and got them set up on the QY1 gate. PL cyno'd supers in so I took 10 bombers with me to try and bomb some F/Bs. This didn't go very well and while we were busy goons jumped into C3N. We bombed them as they came in with the 2 squads that were still on gate but this turned out to not be enough. After that we got set up with all 3 different squads in different spots around C3N station and probes on the drakes. Drakes started pinging around a bit and we caught them at their fourth ping. Wing-warped all bombers, got the first 2 squads to bomb and popped a couple of drakes. Then the last 8 or so bombers in squad 3 launched and it ~hurt~
nulli just showed everyone how it's done. Pro FCing there from PL and Goons.
So Goons saw some action too, good for them!
And how does ev0ke fit in this play? Are they just fighting stragglers?
don't blueball vee it's a bad idea xdxdxdxdxd

Just so you know -- defeated Red Alliance was brought into the Southern Coalition and given space in Querious. Nemesis -- which held some space in Delve (basically as squatters) was offered a spot in the coalition if they would relocate. They refused. Consequently Red Alliance invaded Nemesis' Delve space. Nemesis capitulated almost immediately and sold all of their Delve space to Red Alliance for around 20 billion. Suddenly red alliance was on our doorstep, which we didn't like even though they were in the coalition. It was agreed by coalition higher-ups that -- as we wanted -- we would fight Red Alliance for Delve but neither would invade beyond that -- meaning we would not invade Red Alliance in Querious and they would not come into Period Basis. So we were neutral, but part of the same coalition. We also never claimed that we weren't part of the same coalition. We ended up going blue after an outside force invaded. It's my understanding that many coalitions have neutral members who agree to band together when faced with an external threat.
I just thought this situation called for some clarity :-)
This little saga reminds me of the time of the DRF, none of the entities up north wanting to rock the boat up north and so coming down south attacking sov hoping for some fights, however using the assests (Supercapitals) and numbers that is usually reserved for northern fights where tech is concerned and the risk vs reward becomes worthwhile. Once these assets though are brought and used for fighting over space that has less worth (the south) against entities that cannot escalate to that level, this enevitably results in blueballs and structure grinds for the attackers. The southern alliances will shrug their shoulders and play the long game only fighting on occasion when favourable, waiting for the assault to subside and for the boat to begin rocking up north again, likely after a much anticipated tech nerf.
Simply put if you want fights in the south you should scale back the use of Supercapitals every time it looks like you might lose a sub cap brawl or you could all grow some balls and start brawlin in the north with each other but both of these solutions encompass some form of risk. The ball is in your court and it's your choice how you want to play.
Yeah, but today that wasn't the case. There was about 500 between S2N & Delvebros, RA, and -A-. PL, TEST, Goons, and Ev0ke were 700ish. This is already a problematic force ratio - especially considering PL caps/supers - but S2N at least was planning to make a go of it. Then -A- got cold feet at the last moment and decided to turn around and take their 150ish home, which suddenly makes it 700 to 350 and thus downright suicidal without massive force multipliers - multipliers which the hostiles had an unassailable advantage in.
s2n has blamed -a-, now we sit back and wait for -a- to show up and blame s2n. The cycle continues.
Northern trash blues everything from fountain to geminate then wonders why they can't get a fight.
Vale, tribute, geminate are all either red or lack standings.
We were even making moves to shoot up the place, but southern niggers had to step.
Illiterate, risk-averse, cowardly finger-pointing shitposting mongoloids.
If you're gonna hit the "reply" button at least put some fucking effort into it, christ.
TEST isn't blue to ev0ke, on the contrary.
i think they must have real high hopes for freeport delve/elite space guild 2012
better get those structures ground down
Yeah, let's chase random germans in Aridia.
Great idea nerds
Don't know why your leaders are talking down numbers -- but we counted 600 hostiles in fleet, in delve today. We had 700-750 in fleet.
NULLI/A/etc vasty outclassed our ships, since our dudes were mostly in Tier3s/Drakes and NULLI/RA had almost 2x our BS numbers, thou of course we did have dozen dreads and as always supers on standby (this time especially since RA had called for supers).
But -- Makalu is probably the most risk adverse coalition FC in EVE right now, not that I blame him since they don't have endless Tech3 faucet like some others ))). So they pulled off field and announced their DEPLOYMENT TO C3N about 1 day early since their hand was forced.
With the entire Southern Coalition now unified, deploying within a single region and ready to roll -- I guess it's time to make Delve into a proper shooting ground.
Why won't this thread stop?!?

Just when I thought this thread couldn't get any worse.
every shadoo op theres 4 new pages to this thread, only seeing a trend here
What I dont understand is why AAA insist on flying over priced fleet doctrines that they literally cannot afford to lose. It seems dumb as fuck to continue doing that when you dont have the ability to replace it without having to spend a good portion of your isk. Although I guess other doctrines dont run away as well, so I imagine that is an important factor to consider.
