annie has stayed the same

If you want a really, really easy champion to play, who has trouble dying at all, Gragas is a good start.

Here's a pubstomp build that works both at low levels and at 30 (just went 8/2 last night is a quick game):

Doran's Ring -> Doran's Ring -> Boots 1 -> Rabadon's Deathcap (get Needlessly Large Rod first - this means farm farm farm) -> Sorcerer Shoes -> Zhonya's Ring -> Rylai's

Typically by that point the game is over, if not keep building ability power items (Void Staff, etc). Congratulations, you're now two-shotting squishy heroes like Ashe, Vayne, and Teemo (your Barrel Roll does 600 damage, your Body Slam does 600 damage, and your ult does about 700 damage - your body slam has a six second cooldown and barrel roll is 10 seconds)

gragas is everything but easy to play properly, and i'd also start with boots and pots instead of the dorans, otherwise every char with a poke or a little range will just shit on you.

uh, no

2nd level get drunken rage - poke's don't matter, furthermore even without runes your barrel roll is hitting for ~100 damage at level one. play safe until level four when you get level 2 barrel roll and level 1 body slam and you will punish anyone except sustain type characters (rumble/yorick/etc). go flash/ignite.

i've gone ranked games mid against vayne/brand/swain and completely trashed them. its all a matter of knowing attack ranges and how to bob in and out - make yourself hard to hit and retaliate.

at early summoner level games (~1-20) most people are garbage anyways so you don't even need to work that hard

forgot to add why you don't start boots - at level three you're getting body slam. it's essentially a shorter flash that only has a 10-12 second cd at level 1. why get boots when you can get away with that + flash if needed?

When i play gragas then i usually need the extra movement speed to get myself all the cs in the world, can't farm with the barrel till level 6 properly, unless you rely on your jungle to constantly hand you blue for barrel-spamarama.

That's the general idea - I only ever play with friends so I get all the blues except the first. Your barrel is fine for farming enough cs to get the second doran's ring, and with mp5 blues and two doran's ring you're fine until blue. Without mp5 blues you're still okay, just gotta make each barrel count.

The only two mids I can think of immediately are akali and kennen, and both need blue anyways because CDR. In solo queue, I agree with you though, most pubbies can't do anything worthwhile with the buff.

Also just bought the Bruce Lee skin for Lee Sin. It's awesome

What? No. I mean blue helps akali but the CDR isn't essential (haven't played enough with kennen.) I run spell vamp quints on akali and run 12/18/0 masteries so she gets her CDR from offense and defense and is hella tanky early game. I have literally never asked for blue when I mid with her because she doesn't need it more than the jungler or some other AP champ. She has to be hella careful pre-6 anyway, so she should really just be using her Q to last hit and harass the enemy. Once she gets 6, all she has to do (unless you're doing bad) is Q, ult to target, immediately drop bubble, auto attack, Q, AA and drop an ignite and they're generally fucked. With the CDR, your moves should almost always be up at the right time as long as you execute her combo properly.

I want to play Lee more but I'm so goddamn bad with AA champs in lane it's sad. I never understand when to harass, when to last hit and when to back off.

He said manaless mid champs, hence akali and kennen, and yes its generally a good idea to give your mid hard carries blue. They may not absolutely need it, but it sure as hell helps.

Lee Sin is probably the easiest melee aa hero to play, mainly because his passive gives 50% atkspd. Spread out your abilities to maximize this passive and you can 1v1 any hero early game ( except skarner, because that Q man, that Q).

Rer, account name is flameke, and i'm available at night mostly (I'm mid-move atm so at a hotel, but the net is good enough to play. Once I finish moving next week I'll be enjoying good internet and can play more often).

Also, since I'm done with my trip to japan I'll be starting a ranked team after the move (my last one failed hard). If interested (I know vonq is) we'll get this rolling.

The general opinion: ZOMG AKALI IS TOTALLY USELESS NOW. They nerfed her spellvamp wolololololol. DONT PICK HER SHES SO USELESS NOW.

What actually happened: Riot nerfed her passive spell vamp, sure. But they also completely redid the masteries tree which means that A) she no longer needs to use as many runeslots to proc her AD passive, giving her more early game Magic Pen B ) added spellvamp quints heh C) added spellvamp utility masteries. I'm not going to bother typing out numbers and shit, just know that her early game spell vamp got nerfed by 1% and if you go spell vamp quints and go 12/0/18 then you actually have more spell vamp than before her ~nerf~

So basically, she got buffed while shutting up all the angry 12 years olds on the LoL forums.

At least she's not instabanned in low elo ranked anymore and I can go back to 0wning
