I have to admit, When Grath came and tooketh all away, I was pretty spacemad and frustrated that someone bigger would come and push the space sand castle over again like many have before, but there is a pattern with this, everytime CVA and co take space, we gain new allies, everytime someone bigger comes and takes it off CVA and co's hand you see these people run and or swap sides. It's almost as if people do the purging for us. But also this last time around we seem to be getting our shit together slowly but surely with decent numbers more solid fleet doctrines. So without anymore troll or Grath hating. Thank you Grath and co for giving us the pushes we need to becoming something other then awful rp wizard hat scrubs.

I love CVA for existing, continuing to exist and for not vanishing into the great dustbin of EVE when -A- & Friends caused a temporary setback in the rollout of Operation Deliverance. The last few weeks we've seen a strong increase in fleet doctrines, faster formups , and even better, a handful of FC's stepping up. Providence is slowly getting alive again. We're still far away from Provi 1.0 , but I do feel we're on the right path.
Also , -A- has shown some presence again (lol whelp.. https://a-killed.me/?a=kill_related&kll_id=614615) and the general feeling of "good fun" is already back for some while.

You're welcome, and I hope it keeps growing this way, especially now that CVA can directly influence FW and possibly meet some new blood, and get exposure to some newer players, dragging them out to 0.0.
FW and CVA are probably made for each other, but I personally have my reservations. I fear people focussing too much on FW if we ever would join, instead of doing the real stuff (Nullsec).
Agree though, that FW can drag in new blood.. Would be good.
We'll see, our general relations with faction warfare groups are generally so horrible that the whole alliance thing may be too little too late for us to get heavily involved.

What happened there?
CVA/provi is NRDS. FW generally got plenty of pirate alts and general NBSI duders. Setting them blue will create quite the mess. Did that last time it was tried.
Yea, I remember when FW first came out, CVA was pretty fucking mad they couldn't get involved. You'll find a way to work it out I'm sure, and UK will likely be just as involved on the other side (maybe they'll get new blood too).
Basically along the lines of what nidding said. We have 1/3 of amarr fw red for piracy as plenty of pirates were using it as a cover for pew pew. So everytime we went in there would be standings issues and we'd shoot red amarr fw because 'ebil pirates' which pissed off fw commanders. Half the fw people we had red were actually actively still running raids into providence so finally we just said enough is enough and have been running a policy of actively avoiding meddling in amarr fw. For a time PIE and CVA leadership were pretty pissy at each other over the whole thing which is what led to our stand-offish policy. Watching fw logs from friends was quite entertaining at times watching people badmouth CVA. (For those who don't know we can and will set people kos for stuff like that). Eventually things died down and we've just actively avoided fw. Part of the reasoning was also following our disappointment with it as conquering the different systems really had no actual outcome or point besides bragging rights so we didn't few there was much incentive to get involved. During the first year or so we did pour a lot of isk into sponsoring 'righteous' fw groups though and a lot of the early industrial backbone was originally funded by provi groups.

For the reasons competently explained above it's unlikely in the extreme that CVA will have much to do with FW either now or in the near future, at least until FW becomes fun. Roleplay is very rarely used as a motivation for policy anymore (with exceptions) especially when it would result in a shitty time for members and allies.
