re; the bombers, how do you get around losing sentries to bombs? i don't have eft atm, and never flown an ishtar, but iirc you only get 2 flights and change? so do you hug your sentries and scoop when bombs drop, or pop them out and whizz somewhere else and write the drones off if they die?
HAC 5 gives you 3 full flights, other than that its a mix of not sucking and can't do anything about it that gets you through. We found some work throughs with it today, so we don't expect it to be a problem, and today, in the face of all those bombers, we managed to keep all our sentries alive for about an hour and a half, it got to the point that we were losing the ishtars more than losing the drones were a concern.Originally Posted by teds

These are the same people whose leader (Oldma) loaded up all of their alliance BPOs into a covops without a MWD and warped (uncloaked, as the story goes) into a camped station. He got dragged by a hictor bubble and cloaked, but since he had no MWD he was decloaked by a Drake. Oops. I found this old screenshot and spreadsheet that show all of the BPOs.

In my time in EVE I've spent most of it in low sec and a bit here and there in null but honestly out of all the major entities in EVE, PL are like Unicorns that I never see anywhere unless it's on some SC KM with 200 SC's assuring their was no fight. In fact the only PL guy I can even recall seeing in low sec was some guy that used to try to bait with noob alts in Black Rise to drop his Nyx on. I've yet to ever see a PL gang just roaming around looking for a fight.
Meanwhile I've fought Goons, Test, R&K, WN, AAA and countless others many times in my travels but never once have I spotted a magical gang of unicorns named PL.
Why look for fights if you know you can get ganks?
