MM corps have to carry the burden of being in MM from a diplomatic point of view. When some of your main diplomats are as arrogant as ours are it does make moving on difficult, and you start to find your options... Limited.
That assumes, of course, that you have options left.

I think you can have deluded leadership and membership who just log in to pew (horribly). People stick it out in terrible corps/alliances een when they know its bad because of the people they're x'ing up with. Leadership can have their self-deluded notions of what is happening, members usually know exactly whats happening but take it.
