I've noticed that there's a pretty big disconnect between the general consensus of kugu and what's actually happening. It seems enough people have said it in this thread that people are taking it as fact.

Like I said before, there are regular nice-sized fights, but I just can't bring myself to get at all excited about the outcomes. AAA bloc and RED bloc are pretty indistinguishable to me, though I root for -A- in the end only because they don't have a tentative batphone to WN, NCDOT, Raiden, etc.

Funny thing is, they weren't jokes...
They should just limit the self destruct to pods, there really isn't a need for it in ships except to deny others the loot and killmail.

I missed the start of the fight but was on comms just as they started calling primaries, and got into system after about 5 mins.
LQ timer was up. I'd already missed the UEPO timer so no clue there, but we managed to get a nearly big enough fleet to make a fight of the LQ one.
I land on grid to find us fighting at point blank range. DRF with (200+) several carriers and baddons, us in Geddons (170ish). Guardians were being jammed by scorps so we had a few repping issues, but we were still managing to take down primaries. We were losing ships about the same rate as killing them.
After a few more minutes of fighting FC ordered supers in to kill the carriers, 5-6 jumped in followed by a couple more a few minutes later. They launched bombers and began working on the carriers. Once most of the carrier were dead it was clear that we didn't have the numbers to hold the field so FC got Supers safe and GTFO. I'd been killed by this time so can only give this from what I heard over comms.
On the way out in my POD I passed an INIT fleet a few jumps out making their way to the fight. Don't know if they managed to get there.
We managed to get there. For some reason we had this naive idea you'd still be fighting.
