Tonight the elite Lynch Squad of ESG went out on a roam to do what they do best. While scouting the system 9WVY-F the master tackler wheniaminspace, in disbelief, calls out in comms that he's landed on 6 carriers at the sun. With the nid successfully tackled, we jump and warp in. We land on grid as the carriers try to warp off, apparently unaware our tackler has the nid pointed. After the thannies initially leave the nid behind, the hexaboxing carrier pilot fleet warps the thannies back to spider tank our small gang. (In the process warping a noctis also in his fleet to us, who is promptly destroyed.)

After fending off defense gangs, our blues turn us down to come out and help us because it's too far in the drone regions. Despite this, we continue to hold the carriers. Eventually 'help' arrived to save the carriers. At one point this defense gang managed to force us off the carriers. With nothing tackling them the carriers managed to warp off to a PoS. After a few skirmishes where we popped a few ships with no losses (http://kb.gonnahate.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=3588), wheniaminspace reports that one of the carriers has decided to warp back to the sun and is now tackled by him. Refusing to sacrifice any of his carriers, the hexboxer again warps his entire carrier fleet back to the sun to continue spider tanking us. Bringing us back to square one.

5 hours later, our gang valiantly continues to hold tackle on all 6 carriers, having decimated millions upon millions worth of drones.

With help not coming from our blues, we saw no other option but to begin spamming everyone we can with offers of 6 carriers on a sun. Surprisingly, NC. are the ones who decide to make the 20 jumps into the drone regions to slay russian capitals. Before the red fleet arrives, a solo failfit tengu worth almost 3 billion isk decides he will try to be a hero and save the carriers. (http://kb.gonnahate.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=3598).

Minutes later the red fleet arrives and the hexboxer finally decides it's time to log out his accounts. At this point it's too late. 6 very satisfying pops later:

No, our FC was womyn power.

Honestly the time passed by kind of painlessly because every now and again he would deploy all 6 carriers worth of drones and we would have to defend ourselves. The weird gangs that popped up also provided with distraction. Nevermind derpy things helped maintain morale, like our bomber bombing the carriers drones (easily the most drones I've seen go down from a single bomber) or the carriers deploying drones while they smartbombed. The tengu's fit was a good source of laughs, too. We also had fresh players burning out to try and help us cap out the carrier, Kan'loch especially stands out because he went ~20 jumps in a Armageddon without a scout, fitting all neuts in the high slots and warp core stabs. Believe it or not, he made it.

Was for sure a fun ass fleet, props to Dimitryy for getting on the horn to the NC. guys, and even more props for them to showing up without knowing if we weren't trying to fuck them over (We're red with them after all, but these days it seems like we do more with reds than blues, heh.)

Oh yeah, forgot. First roam with an actual Lynch Squad [14.88] in fleet and we get 6 carriers and a 3bn tengu, it's only down hill from here.
