Yeah, thats probably the biggest difference between wspace and nullsec wars. WH groups dont usually fight to take and hold space. Its just to ruin someones day. At the moment there are more WHs than there are people to fill them, so until eve grows enough that it starts to feel cramped there wont be many people actually conquering those systems.

The R&K invasion was a hilarious failure so NATO has dissolved and (mostly) reset each other. Most members have gone back to curb-stomping 10-man corps and taking their stuff in order to boost their self-esteem (and wallets). DUCK has gone through 3 executors in 3 weeks, and they're finding out the hard way that if you double in size over 4 months, you will be riddled with spies. TALUN is still growing, and still no-one cares about them. R&K and Aharm are both chugging along, though Fairlight is still in w-space so R&K is still wary. All the Proteus pilots are jerking off over the promised hybrid changes. Not much else to report at this point.
EDIT: Oh, and CCRES is continuing their long, slow slide into irrelevance- they're doing so well at it that I totally forgot about them in my original post. Oops.

Wormholers are under-appreciated. A lot of them are damn good at what they do. Except the ones who literally just do sites all day and lose T3's stupidly. Fuck them.
We are, but I think this is all changing slowly. Although not all WH pilots are competent, we've all pretty much been forced to adapt to the unforgiving environment and more or less depend on intel in our system and our neighbors... and our neighbors' neighbors. It's funny though (kind of) that I still hit dscan in empire space when local is empty...

NATO only forms up for big sieges. From what I have seen there are always small scale sieges on other holes all the time, but nothing that needs NATO support.
Anyways, with their being so many unoccupied wormholes evicting all Russians or all of NATO from wspace is a pipe dream since nothing stops them from coming back in a different place and starting over.

Apparently, Noir was on contract to cause a lot of damage to Ducks. There was intel that a sizeable Starbridge fleet was also en route to assist Noir., and we were expecting some major pews.
Unfortunately, Starbridge never showed, and the battle was again nowhere near as epic as we were hoping.

A battle report for the NCdot/noir. versus Narwhals fight will be posted in the next day or two. In the meantime, I have another report for you.
An alliance PvE Carrier fleet announced hostiles in their wormhole. They tried to disengage, but the sleepers kept some of the fleet pointed, so the call was made for them to stay on grid in the site.
Moments later, a Lead Farmers fleet landed in the site with them and began the attack.
We had about 6-7 Tengu in the site with the carrier, as well as a Maelstrom and Nightmare, but they were dealing with incoming sleeper damage from an escalated site as well, so time was of the essence. The carrier was tanking them, but the had brought a Bhaalgorn onto the field so the carrier pilot knew his capacitor run time was very limited.
The Lead Farmers fleet was comprised of a Bhaalgorn, two Loki, a Legion, a Proteus, an armor Tengu (lolwut?), an Absolution, two Deimos, and three Guardians. A response fleet was formed up on the wormhole, comprised of whatever shield ships we had laying around, including several PvE fit Tengu, BC, HAC, Recons and a lone armor Bhaalgorn.
We had no logistics, but were hoping the Chimera would be able to keep us up against their fleet. We were given the order to jump in and warp to the carrier, and landed on the grid. Our falcon and a curse warped with the fleet and were destroyed almost immediately.

Our FC started rotating the primary around, to try to get their guardians to slip up, but they were doing a great job keeping the hostile fleet in the fight. The FC saw the Bhaalgorn was taking damage from the sleepers in the site,so the order was given to overheat our weapons to beat their reps, and he quickly melted under the combined fire.

I'm actually shocked at how kept together the comms are after the fight is decided. [s]A fight[/s] Elite Pvp that intense usually ends with at least SOME celebratory white noise over comms. Very impressive all around.

Asides from aharm and Rnk there are a few russian alliances. I am not aware of any "elite" groups. Most are just out there making isk and fighting when they feel like it.
