Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
Does anybody know what they fucked up so badly that they didn't go ahead with the release?
Did they nerfbat FW?
This looks interesting, its not like the Huginn's high slots were that useful...Also a nice buff to the Golem and ratting carriers.

Not sure I agree with that. I thought the point of EVE was that to do something, you have to sacrifice something else - namely, in this case, to paint targets you forego tank/mobility/etc.
That said, wouldn't say no to weapons in all power slots to create 16 gun maelstroms![]()
Meta4 uses half the cap, 9 less CPU (which counts for a lot), costs only half a mil (god only knows what these will cost when they're first released) and more importantly doesn't require Target Painting 5 to use.
[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.
It's still a compromise, you sacrifice utility (in the form of a neut, smartie, whatever) for your TP. They become unique among ewar by being more flexible with what they sacrifice to fit, while still being pretty bad on a per-module basis. people have wanted a buff to torps and TPs for awhile, seems like a good way to kill two birds with one stone and mix up the FOTM at the same time
I'd totally use that on a Huggin in a fleet since my DPS is terribad as it is, might as well drop another tank mod in the mid.
6 hislot TP huginns with 1 web, prop mod and 4 slot tank aww yea.
Other thing about it is that it is perfectly in tandem with the dread changes. I agree in that I am not sure how I would feel about it if a version of each of the ewar were made, it would open up a lot of unique fits but could make something like the Domi or Ishatar hilariously unbalanced...maybe reduce the fitting a bit but give it only half the effectiveness of the mid slot version.
On the other hand, the extra cap and CPU is mostly irrelevant compared to the benefits (more tank/tackle on hulls that usually dont want to sacrifice mids). But since nothing's even been said about them in a devblog and the fact they're not even seeded on SiSi would lead one to believe they're not that important (yet).
Sort of a necro but it's still germaine to Inferno changes:
I'm really liking the attack frigs. I've only tried the exe and slasher but they were fun to fit and tool around in. Same with the barges. They don't end up being volleyed by null rats but they're not likely to survive the better spawns forever, either. I like them a bit less when taking highsec into account but not enough that I want to see them nerfed. They're not impossible to kill but I doubt a pair of dessies will do it before concord arrives.
Haven't messed with alchemy yet. besides, smarter industrialist minds will do a better job of examining them. I'm just a JoT so take anything I say with a grain of scrub.
God yes. I set up an arty slasher. My memory sucks but I think I was doing 5 or 6K with heat and I don't think I had any speed mods besides the MWD. Fitting is more generous as well.
Edit:
Decided to check. Bear in mind, that I don't have all level 5 skills. Accell is 3 so there's some room to move up.
The executioner will get to nearly 3300 unheated and almost 4700 overheated. 3500 EHP my fit but as I write this I realized I missed a rig.
The slasher will do 3480 no heat and almost 4960 with heat. Again it'll go faster for all fives. 3100 EHP.
Drone bay changes on sisi. The proc now has 25m, all exhumers have 50m.
I know I suck at getting proper images. Basically, the EHP on this procurer was 38Kish. I managed to almost perma-tank a two large 1 med spawn. In the end, I warped out with 2% shields with 12800 in ore out of a 15000m bay. I likely would have filled it if I didn't mistakenly fit a T1 strip.

Self destructing while aggressed generates a killmail, and modules will now drop just like a normal kill.
