So I formed up about 110 Durrakes; we were a little light on numbers but I took us out anyway. We sat on the 319 undock for about 40 minutes until some nerd came into the command channel and started telling me about their formup. Some piece of shit Russian FC named Spottington thought he could brawl me with a drake/cane fleet.
So he undocked his Drake/cane fleet. and died. I owned nearly every single Hurricane in the fleet.
After the first round was over, he tried to get people to reship so he could fight again. I called a broadcast for some more numbers and got about 50-60 reinforcements, bringing my fleet up to about 165. They refit with extra Kinetic hardeners to fight our Drakes so I had us switch to EM missiles. They undocked.
And died.
They docked up again after losing all of their Hurricanes and a healthy number of Drakes. They decided to put sensor dampeners on some of their ships to try to counter our (hilariously bad) logi numbers. So they undocked again.
And died.
This time around I finally killed their FC while they were deaggressing. He had the fleet join PK's alphafleet, which undocked.
And then died.
We went home victorious; we killed every Tornado they had in the Alphafleet and a decent handful of Maelstroms. The Maelstroms removed their propmods for extra tank but that's okay because they still got mouthfucked.

Pretty much what a CTA means in the SoCo is that we get as many people as possible fight on the undock until supers or caps come in then dock back up. Can't do shit with shit leaders.

I suppose you can blame supercaps for the SoCo losing basically every engagement with T3s against drakes in a war they ultimately escalated. A very low hanging fruit for a coalition of 20k dudes to blame supercaps for not doing anything strategic thus far except clearing the undock of 319 of bubbles periodically.
But... if they use supercaps, then we'll use our super caps, and we'll kill their supercaps.

Honestly SoCo isn't that bad (minus AAA ofc). It's mainly their lack of organization that fucked them and it's been downhill from there. They are perfectly capable of defending or at least putting up a fight but they are disorganized and they weren't ready at all for this war. PL punching RA in the face helped quite a bit too
From the outside AAA looks terrible to work with, but I'm obviously not informed on the inner-workings of SoCo. I am curious to see why Nulli and RA stick with them though, there has to be some redeeming quality to AAA that isn't obvious to everyone else.
We're going to blueball the enemies and force them to grind structures, they hate that. By the way we're not actually going to blueball we're just going to lob welps into them on the 319 undock while they spend two hours every other night reinforcing a region. Once a week we'll welp a t3 fleet and claim we'll never engage again.

I think AAA pretty much killed its own morale with those bullshit deployments into the North (I think there were 3 invasions that did literally nothing).
The AAA that fought at least for a few weeks in HED before running to LGK (when the DRF came down) is much different from the AAA that has essentially already resigned itself to losing the entire South.

We generally died but we had fun being douchebags. In all the recordings the SoCo FCs were going ape shit yelling at people and telling people to shut the fuck up and be professional or whatever hurf blurf they used. The point being, well I forgot the point I was trying to make other than I got to fly my Shield Buffer Retribution.

Weren't they getting 800+ pilots into space when it was just TEST and PL to fight them? There's no reason that they can't match the CFCs numbers, other than their own lack of co-ordination and motivation. And that's not the CFC's fault.
It's a 25k coalition versus a 30k coalition. One side shouldn't be fielding literally a third as many pilots when they're only 20% smaller. That's just embarrassing.
