Isn't it obvious that if any of this was really true it would have been reported over the years, at least by a few people and instead of having its memberbase increasing it would eventually become a deadzone (like shitheap but for totally different reasons)?

If CCP really grew up and did take the :honest: road it's about time to drop the egoistical nonsense that comes from the fact that the creator of the site did catch them once with their pants down and do what is only obvious; remove this damn filter.

We are either a highly successful conspiracy or you maintain a vendetta against a successful and popular EVE fansite.

I like both answers but sadly we can only have one.

Spamming threads? given the strength of emotion of some of our supporters, I can hardly blame them.

Do all successful and popular threads count as spammed ones? and why do the actions of a few invalidate all the strong, heartfelt arguments of the many? some are both.

We are not a recognized fansite?

Why not tell us how we can become a recognized one?

And even then, it seems that you have merely moved the goalpost again to avoid having to explain your actions. Pay a tax, get a license, jump through a hoop.

That is why we made a thread in the CSM section.

Because the CSM are, to us, players of EVE, the circuit-breaker by which we can circumvent an unreliable, autocratic and out of touch management in CCP.

A management who have erred and sinned again and again against us. And then offered to make things right.

Not just for better guns, ships, expansions, patches and other game problems, but also for those things which come under the umbrella of the EVE experience.

We did not get a CSM response. You did not confer with the CSM. A CSM member offered to send on our message and the message we received was that our situation would never change. Facts, opinion, popularity, discussion, irrelevant.

SO there are some fanciful theories about our site.

    consider:

20 thousand active users all with compromised accounts, all suffering from credit card fraud, identity theft, loss of EVE accounts and various other maladies.

While those complicit swarm to us to download the latest bots and hacks to win at EVE, sending isk and money to our swelling accounts.

Readers suffer cycles of requests for cash, isk and information - blind and innocent victims, our skills so stealthy that none of them ever connect us to their misfortunes.

And yet our site is so intoxicating that our victims continue to visit, invite their friends, stay for years, go to meets, play other games.

And carrying out all this amazing industry?

A squad of volunteers from various alliances, some of whom are at war with each other, loyally maintaining a code of silence and never letting slip exactly how much dirty money we make from our devious schemes.

What a dizzying mixture of luck and genius, to be guilty of all the charges leveled against us.

I forgot about that. We turned them down because they'd only give us a single subscription, and Mulla wasn't interested.

Listen CCP, it's not too late. Xutech and Vinata are always on the look-out for sweet merchandise they can leave around to let everyone know how much of a nerd they are. When that nice young lady is coming by to sell magazines for charity, you can count on either one of those two to invite her into their studio apartment, sit her down, and try to soothe her nerves by informing her that they do indeed like magazines. They will then gesture towards the fine copies of EVE Online's official magazines, and painfully make awkward chit-chat with the girl, trying to gather up the courage to ask out the timid doe in front of them. She'll only be spending the entire time wondering how to leave without provoking their anger, afraid that she might be hurt, and wondering why oh why did she leave her partner behind, they're always supposed to travel in twos for a reason, and these creeps (either one of them) was most definitely a reason.

After a few pained minutes, when it is obvious "I am VERY important in internet spaceships" isn't making her salmon canyon go SPLOOSH, our brave heroes will finally let the poor girl leave - after buying $200 of magazine subscriptions, because they don't want to look like misers and maybe she'll come back around again, who knows?

And when that ordeal is over, and the brave knights have failed to gain the favor of yet another fair maiden, they can always look on EVE Insider and say "This magazine is worth pimping out our forums to a company that otherwise refuses to acknowledge our existence."
    Based upon a true story.

Well looking at the number of likes you got Xutech, nobody seems to care. I alone and my accounts make up 5% of the likes right there.

But people calling Darius an Idiot and watching Manny sperg the fuck out was well worth it.

I'm kinda confused. Are people saying this forum doesn't "encourage" EULA violation because they actually think that or is it just because we're trying to get the wordfilter removed? (Encourage in that really expansive definition whereby any instance where it is not specifically removed and the poster punished counts as "encouragement")

I can't really recall any time we've said "Hey go break the eula"

So does everyone else, in more detail and with better instructions, by the site owners.

Kugu is actually the least offensive in that regard.
