Wasn't it a bit stupid of PL to go and wipe out the CF Fleet? I mean, if you really had an agreement to not shoot CF, why didnt you honor it? this fight would have been pretty balanced. Now it looks like 400 dudes shot 150 dudes which is pretty ok with me but in the future you will have problems of getting proper fleet fights.

- CF wont engage because they know that everyone will shoot them first and they will always be massivly outnumbered
- MM/brick wont engage evoke because they know ze germans will kick their asses especially with PL on their side
- Now that PL is here, Evoke can do whatever the fuck they want because they are backed up by a fucking Hellcat fleet which will turn the tide every engagement

What we saw today was MM/Brick+Evoke+PL killing CF which went on to Evoke+PL killing MM/Brick and somewhere along the fight the dudes in their armor hacs got wiped out, too.
Better would have been CF+PL versus MM/Brick+Evoke, and then in the end all could have shot at each other and all would have been great fun.

Sure this was a glorious win win win for PL+Evoke but now Delve is just fucked up. All the alliances can probably go home now because you wont see MM/Brick siding with CF so there is no counterweight to the PL+Evoke force in the area.

Well, i like big fleet fights and now i wont get any and thats why i'm a sad little panda right now.

I just listened to the audio from the Goon fleet, and I'd like to start off with saying that I'm impressed by how Vee runs fleets. He seems very calm and collected, even when losing. +1

Also, like was said in the recording, it could have been a lot worse (i.e. more expensive) than it actually was.

That said, I don't think Goons should be complaining about PL being "dishonourable faggots" for turning on them like that, since Goons are renowned in Eve for being just as trollish. "Can't trust a anything a Goon says" etc. etc. etc.

Im not sure what you are talking about.

First we wiped the goon fleet.
Then we wiped the ATLAS/FAIL ahac fleet.
Then we killed half the MM/BRICK drakes before they ran.
20 minutes later we cynod back on top of MM/BRICK and wiped another ahac fleet aswell as chasing of the MM/BRICK drakes again while they took heavy losses.

So tl dr we killed 3 out of 4 fleets in system.

In the end of the day local was at 500 and PL had 75 in fleet.
What we do is irrelevant if there is another 425 non PL brawling.

But thanks for giving us all this cred and attention

You didn't wipe out the "Goons" by yourself. You killed them while they thought you were shooting someone else and not them while beeing shot at from MM + Brick + Evoke + Nulli and all the stuff that was hanging out there.
Then you wiped the rest of the Fleets in the system out (while you and evoke ignored each other pretty much).

Now everyone knows, that there won't be any good fleet fights and thats kinda the point i dont like.

BRICK station system IHUB was coming out of reinfirced at 16:40 something eve time, so euro TZ.

MM/BRICK formed up 140ish man drake fleet.
Atlas formed up 60ish man ahac fleet.
Evoke/ewoks formed up 100 man drake fleet.

Goons formed up 170 man alpha fleet.

PL form up 75 hellcat fleet.

So everyone shot Goons, MM+Brick got only shot by PL+Goons and Evoke shot only Goons \o/ Ok this could work out very well. I'm happy again <3

Note that I'm just a GSF grunt so some of this might be incorrect:

MM/Brick/Ev0ke/Atlas had formed up to defend an 8WA timer. Vee had made a bropact with PL at some point (I didn't know this until halfway through the fight), so it was expected to be CFC/PL vs MM/Brick/Ev0ke/Atlas. PL had, however, done the same thing with Ev0ke. CFC had ~150 alphafleet on a Titan, PL had ~80 Abaddons/Guardians. I don't know the numbers of the other 'side', but it was comparable. MM/Brick/Ev0ke were mostly in Drakes. There were a bunch of Atlas/Cascade Zealots, too.

CFC bridged in. I'm not sure when PL entered the field, but it was pretty early. We primaried MM/Brick FCs and command ships while ignoring PL/Ev0ke. PL did some bombing runs, I believe. We were killing stuff pretty quickly, but at about the time we started on Ev0ke's FCs/etc, we stopped being able to alpha stuff as the Maelstrom numbers had dropped quite a bit. People then started noting that they were being shot at by PL, and lossmails filled with PL Abaddons were being reported. CFC started to withdraw, burning out of bubbles. We ended up losing virtually everyone (I and about 10 other people survived, from what I can tell).

PL then apparently proceeded to curbstomp Atlas/MM/Brick, including killing a Brick carrier. I don't know what Ev0ke was doing at this point as they are said to not have been shooting MM/Brick... probably giggling. Our SBUs were killed as the survivors bounced safes.

Elise convo's me to agree on fighting mm/brick/ev0ke/fail/atlas/hrr before eachother, I figure it's worth a try to see if PL can be trusted in delve to 'even' numbers 250 vs 350, we get shot instead. PL played it well to make agreements with everyone and ended up not getting shot at all, while they could break one deal after the next. I'm not sure if this was in their best interest, but hey, mad props

Those were beautiful times indeed. Fighting BOB and co in FAT with the Goons are some of the best times I remember. TCF showing up with 30 dreads in the last battle and turning the tide is not forgotten. PL stealing BOB moons in DELVE to take some pressure off us was critical to our success.

But I agree with your point; been in the NC and CFC for over a year now, and never got to experience being on the same side as you chaps. Would be nice to see the horrific rapage from the other side of the field for a change (if only to save me on ship replacements god-dammit). Although in everyones defence, we weren't aware PL were meant to be on our side until it was all over; Vee asked for BC only overviews, presumably to stop accidental PL-jamming, but we weren't told you were supposed to be on our side.

I remember fondly fighting against and along side PL. I always respected there PvP prowess however you guys dropping 30 supers in ever sub cap fight we had with you in Vale and Geminate made most people hesitant to fight you at all expecting you to drop super capitals.

As far as goons getting betrayed, well that is rich you whining about that given your rich history of being fair weather friends at best.

I look forward to being able to get more PvP in the future that will be interesting to say the least.

if you remember, the goons were basically falling apart after they lost all their space and such. but then the NC however gave them most of deklein for free and many of their own moons to support them which let them reform. we protected them and let them rebuild and they pretended to be friends to achieve their own goals, but when it was their time to help us, they reset us and abandoned us....

So the original plan was to bridge in and brawl MM/Brick duders, but then Goons formed and I was like HEY MISTER WEE we should bamf these mofos into the ground. Then Vee was like, OK and we agree when to bridge in warp to the Zealots and start raping. I was in a Guardian doing that thing in a new channel and got jammed, Jogyn was in an Abaddon and got jammed, then Nestor claimed he was getting shot by the Goon. Unbeknownst to me in the Guardian channel, Elendar and Manny then stepped up and started to call Maelstroms primary and work 'em silly. Vee was then like "hey you're shooting me you're on your own" and proceeded to call me an ass crawler. I don't know what an ass crawler is, but I'm pretty sure it's bad and let me tell you it feels bad man. Like no troll I was

after learning what went down and vowed to Mr Vee that I would make it up to him. He was mad tho so Bropact mk 2 is not looking too good.

So that happened, and then we began shooting other dudes but they ran. So we went home, and then a wild Brick dropped carriers on the ihub so we came in and brawled. MM lost some drakes and zealots and a carrier and then came back with 350 dudes and posted about how they had no blues. So now I'm drinking my woes away in hopes that THE GOON can forgive me.

If I'm not incorrect, the GSF was already substantially rebuilt by the time TCF transferred sov. And considering how utterly rotten and useless the NC was proved to be later, I'm not sure how much "crushing" would have gone on.

You can tell the story however you want but its pretty clear you sold NC down the river and "Line in the Sand" poast were just poast. With that said NC needed to die and perhaps Goons were the friends they deserved.
