I mean I don't particularly care for her videos but to denounce all her content for "accidently" uploading nekkids on her fb or whatever it was is pretty damn silly in 2011. I mean shadoo is just two crazy-eyes with a loosely attached Finnish body, but that doesn't make him a worse AT commentator!

I don't think I am denouncing all of her content, but I do think it detracts from her credibility. I never did get to hear Shadoo do the AT but I'm sure he did fine -- plus he's a dude.

Here's the best example I can think of -- the show iCarly -- if you don't know what it is, it's a show for tweens on Nickelodeon in the US. My kids love it, so I watch it too. It's an entertaining enough show with irreverent humor and formulaic plots, but it works well for what it is. The show starts two girls playing high-schoolers. Now I don't know how old the actresses are in real life, but if they were 18 and could legally do so and decided to say... pose in Playboy magazine, just knowing one of them had done it it would kill the show even though it's totally unrelated to that. Remember Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical? Haven't seen her in anything for a while -- it's because a nude leaked of her. I just wish people would use more judgement before putting pictures of their naughty bits online if they expect to be taken seriously.

I might add that it's pretty much required now if you want any chance in hell of transitioning from child star to actual grown up actor.

Although no one "accidentally" posts/releases nudes. It's happening so often that it's a cliche. Not to say they're doing it deliberately to themselves, but if it's not them then it's either their management or the studio itself.

In regards to child stars going nude to break the stigma of being a child actor is something else -- I suppose they're deliberately trying to ruin the perception of "innocence" from the fourth wall. Hudgens' photo was a photo she took and gave to her boyfriend, who put it online after her break-up. Considering how hard men pressure their women for nude pics, I have sympathy for women whose nude pics get put online without their permission.
