I announced on TS during the earlier fight that Bat Country had narrowly decided against turning up with scimis supporting a couple of dps ships, and the last thunderdome (after VFK?) saw uproar about bat country running a remote rep frigate setup, so delvegoons are so 2011 here.

You'd think with the mindset of being the winners of the fight so far Soco would be a little more upbeat or funny in their local taunts. They aren't. They're just mad.

Even the worst of CFC/HB local spam is at least maybe pretending to be funny or witty. GE- spam is just "you suck" said a dozen different ways. I'd say maybe their comms and jabber are a different tone but obviously they are not, we've seen them both.

Watched this Badger II undock from GE- and warp to gate. I follow and pop him in the next system. Well I look at the mail and it's a newbie. New-ish char, no kills, hauler full of newbie loot. Well.... shit. So I convo him and he answers and I give him some simple advice. "Don't move haulers with so many hostiles in system, go in a frigate and get some kills with the fleets to get used to 0.0"

He has no idea what I'm talking about. He doesn't know about the war, he just knows there are bad guys in the area and he needed to get his stuff out. So I wonder if there are a ton of pilots who are too new or too inexperienced to bring on elite PvP fleets and just aren't told about what's going on. I tried to be as helpful as I could with newbie 0.0 advice. He was confused that I was willing to help him to make the overall game better.

Personally if your willing to live in 0.0 space, sometimes its a good idea to follow, erm no.... "Just do your homework" on what it takes to live there. I probably just shot his ass and see if he could work out why. Still nice to see some dudes will help the new guys.

I think more fights have happened over our staging towers in Stain now than in the entire conquest of Delve. Initially we didn't expect to get much support from the CFC way out here, but since -A- has been blueballing in the Delve Triangle, the Majestic Crimson Watercraft has been eager to get fights, and so after being initially outblobbed by -A- we've had the support of CFC tengu and drakefleets, and now this morning a PL Rokh fleet as well. We've usually been flying our own "Quail Hunt" sniper Tornado doctrine alongside the CFC/HB Tengu fleet, a combination which works pretty well.

I gather -A- actually won the k:d on today's fight, but our tower has been saved. -A- is already reinforcing it again. I don't know how many times they're planning on beating their heads against this particular wall, but I can't say that I'm sorry to have so many big fights on my doorstep.
