I met Suas once in RL at fanfest and let me tell you, you just dont meet Suas The Goon King.

Heh. The fanfest security was beefed up after Suas started playing his guitar up on the Goons table in 2007 I think. So its gonna be hard starting shit.
Its all a blur , you are perma drunk most of the time at the fanfest. CCP thought it would be a good idea to allocate tables for alliances.
So every major power got some space at the dining hall.

Of course after huge amount of alcohol and general faggotry. Things started to get interesting. Cudos to CCP for putting the BOB table in between IAC and Goons. Seeing all their dev friends stop by and chat at the table didnt help things.

Singing drunk idiots, throwing trash at them is a sight I never forget. Needless to say BOB went and told on us. I think we took their table and moved it to mc or something.

Alot of burly men started to show up. But Suas was King , no one dared to lift a finger. Armed with his guitar he had summoned an unholy protective barrier of pure man fat and nerd hormones. After a few songs we headed out our separate ways to bars and discos, the fanfest program was over any way that day.

CCP stopped allocating tables to alliances after that.

As much as I hate granting ignoring your enemies as a legitimate strategy, AAA now control the entire south and have pushed up in to the Drone Regions. Apparently the LGK strategy can work pretty decently.

Then again this is more a statement about the brokenness of the sov system than any special characteristics of -A-

I gave some pretty high praise to -A- for their strategy and morale control during the last southern offensive. However, the key difference here is that Raiden's strategic position doesn't improve with time and the CFC's doesn't diminish; that is a stark contrast to what we saw in the south.

The CFC is the tightest coalition in the game, and will be for as long as there are viable threats on their borders (and probably longer because they're blobbing faggots). By contrast, Raiden's defensive coalition is held together by offerings of tech, money, and space, three things they'll have less and less of the longer they hide in Venal.

I want to be clear that I'm far from doomcalling on Raiden here, I've given them higher praise than just about anyone and there are still many variables at play. However, using -A-'s experience as a reference for the strategic situation is really misplaced, and is ultimately and plainly analytically weak.
