I don't think anyone throwing around 300 man fleets has any right to talk about blobbing. You go into that sort of fight with eyes wide open.
The numbers game has been argued to death, but hopefully some day after super cap nerf we can just decide the outcome of a battle based on the fleet finder window. Whoever maxes out 2 fleets wins, no ships need to die.

Tonight, post FIRST hockey game of the season (Leafs owned face) / Jersey Shore / Provincial election coverage (lolminoritygovt), I joined up with a famous baki bc roam. We quickly nabbed a couple quick kills against S E D I T I O N (They think spaces make them cool when in fact bad South Park puns like Brack Region make you cool). They didn't want to stay thirsty and instead chose to mock one of our pilots in local - saying he enjoyed male genitalia in his oral cavity. We also mocked him on coms saying lol you have a sebo, Br1ck noob. Turns out he adamantly defended himself saying nuh uh, I dont have sebo, stfu. I saw effect on my uber :maxgraphics: pc but I said no more. Also, we made more fun of him for having male genitalia in his oral cavity.
That being said, we went back to sekret staging system and reshipped to bcs for honoure duels which we pronouced very vocally in local that we'd be back with a vengeance. So we head back, bringing a falcon (i know I know) with us just because they had had a guardian so we figured you wanna gay it up with logi then we'll up your gayness with more gayness by :becauseoffalcon: the fight. So terms were decided in local that gudfightz were impt so we would fight at a planet so no one had to deal with pesky gate guns or any of that jazz.
They said they're at planet, so in we warp and land 50km off them. Guns running hot we burn towards them across open space. Getting into range, we gudfight and kite like mofos. Bcs are droppin like its hot and we think all is fine. WHEN SUDDENLY, e-honoure hoe bags decide lets be e-douches and apply some orange spray aka JAMMERs and JAMMER DRONES on us. Oh noes, we say, but continue to own some face. THEN SUDDENLY, they reship to tackle, own our face with jammers and we lose some bcs. So, what could have been a mano eh mano bc brawl to the death turned into a big gay al's ranch party.
That being said, S E D I T I O N, despite being composed of Goon and FCON rejects, are good neighbours and always bring the brawl. I just hope they forget their ECM ON HURRICANES lame-o stylez and man the fuck up.

Yeah like i said to Pripyat that one was always going to be a freebie: I was encouraging boat to go for it despite us being outnumbered 260 to 210 or so, albeit from the safety of my workplace desk. It's better than pulling a brick/MM and blueballing your pilots every time you don't have numbers.
Doubtless nobody will be shocked to hear that jumping into an Evoke fleet saw just over 70 of our 210 dudes disconnect. It's just the darndest thing.

As I said before good to see Evoke/Ewoks and MM/Br1ck/etc working so closely together. Counted 30 scimitars after the battle which is a pretty good showing. Look forward to the BR since it looks like a right raping.

Big fight went down in NOL - too early to make a fair assessment of numbers and losses, but goon support (hugins/scorps/some scimis) died very quickly. After that, we had no problems keeping dps up on them and maels started dying in droves. Judging from kbs it seems evoke lost a buch of drakes and our hellcat fleet only lost the odd couple geddons and a damnation, as well as light tackle, while goons lost about half their fleet.
Lag was relatively low for a 450-ish people in local, apart from a bunch dcs relatively early in the fight (i estimate about a dozen hellcat dcs there - fleet was at 95 and went down to 84 when i rejoined).
Tactics were non-existant in this fight it seemed: just a big slugfest without any bounces or anything, just goons burning away and us burning with them.
I don't really have exact numbers, and as said killboards are still syncing, but mm/brick hellcat fleet had around 80-90 people and evoke had a large perma-mwd drake fleet with a ton of scimis - id estimate 150 total? not sure. Also if any kbs show evoke supers: those were only used to kill sbu's and not in the actual fight.
I'd estimate that goons had 150-200 in their alpha fleet based on local numbers.

Edit: going over the kms it seemed both fleets primaried goon support first, in pretty much the same order. Guess that explains how they died so quickly.
