You guys are all idiots. LV is ran by 4 guys. The CEO's from the founding corps Shinra, M. and UKC, and the CEO of FinFleet. FinFleet got granted voting rights like a month after they joined. Chowdown, Velios, Kawasaki and Klezz and the only ones who decide what happens, noone else.
Period.
Any software can be tested without involvement with the customer, especially without involvement in a political landscape like the one we have in EVE.
They have to have characters on TQ for server load reasons, but that's pretty much where any need to be involved with the live game ends.
the argument wasn't the cause but that's what spurned the move
the actual cause was that the lv leaders were trying to tell gunship how to run his corp
see: lv leaders forcing gunship to kick armois delgato, the forcible move into 1v
it didn't help that chowdown acted like a huge faggot either
I for one, appreciate the fact that they are playing the game.
I am going to use the overused argument there, but still stands true, if you don't agree to the way they rule their game (and they didn't hid that from us, they CLAIMED they had staff playing the game and that this was going to keep on going on), why do you play the game ?
And again, don't tell me kugu is just letting people know the game is 'rigged', what does this have to do with Devs playing their game ? Unless you can find him guilty of wrong/corruption, then your argument hold no value.
Don't ruin the game for the peoples that enjoy it, just because you don't like it, the information K provided before, is now on the eve-o forums, and that new piece of information serve no purpose other than ruining the game for the Enslaver (god forbid I don't even know the guy).
well here is pure and simple evidence that someone is posting real life info about kugu.
Watch this character and see if he gets banzored from the forums. I bet he won't just like all the rest. I have screen shots and everything else including the link for further proof if i need it.

I feel I need to say something.you shouldn't call him a hacker until such time as he's convicted of hacking.
He has been convicted before for being naughty to the FBI.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? post his arrest record if yer in possession of such info
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Firstly, I am not the type of person to post people's confidential information about other players in this game. (K's conviction is now in the public domain and has been for a while, so unfortunately it is no longer confidential, persay.)
Secondly, Hubris effectively confirmed that this information was correct with the post he made answering my previous one.
Please insert coin and try again.

So you have no proof of thios allegation then...

Link to an interesting news article. <------(the Linky that had kugu's real life info in it)
There you go.
And Acix, I don't care about CCP's speeches or blogs. I do however care about Mulla destroying someone's game. Someone who has been playing for 3 years and got offered an internship at the company he loves. And he get's outed for what? (ps, Mulla is no longer a player in this game, so I'm hardly posting any information about players and also not breaking any CCP rules)
This was done out of pure spite and revenge on Mulla's part.
here is the last email i sent in

Err everyone knows that Mulla was a hacker... I thought?

Enslaver a GM? Who is next, Armois fucking Delgato? Jeez.
well since they do not have any real consistency to the rules we have to go by performance. And since they cited what kugu did as releasing personal information it can only conclude that anyone else releasing personal info will be banzored also.
But as i said before they can't even stick to their own rules, where was kugu's 10 warnings?
I think a lot the issues here stem from CCP's original lack of a code of ethics for their employees. It seems fairly obvious that a good deal of the CCP employees were playing inside the game, making major decisions in game that affected a vast amount of players, and were using their knowledge/powers/etc to create an advantage for themselves and their friends. However, I think that the most senior people at CCP (the ones that write the checks such as Reynir, Ivar, and Hilmar and so forth) probably didn't really know what was going on, or at least the extent of the problem. Those guys are busy running their business, working with White Wolf, getting EVE:Communist (China) set up and things like that. They aren't going to be on the ground level reading petitions and watching the devs and keeping track of what they're doing. So, when a group of players jumps a mothership/carrier and a GM shows up and keeps it safe. . .who's exactly going to find out about it at CCP and do something about it? When a group uses a bug they learned from their dev friend to shoot you through a POS shield, who is going to read your petition and rectify the issue? No one. The GMs and the devs who are their own little clique/group/whatever at CCP are the chokepoint for information flowing out from the players and to CCP.
Thus, when CCP decided way back when to let their employees play the game, while clearly not having defined rules and a code of ethics to follow, they opened up Pandora's Box and they'll never be able to get it shut. They basically gave their employees control over the progress of the people in EVE and at the same time tied their hands to actually doing anything about the situation. Why? Well, to admit wrongdoing on their part would be to accept the fact that they had no control over their employees and were running a shoddy business. Not very good for their future success w/ White Wolf and other projects or their wallets. To admit that their employees had seriously been tampering with the game since its inception would seriously turn off their entire customer base. Also, they can't really fire any of their employees like T20 because they didn't have a standard code to go by to begin with and there could be some serious legal consequences for releasing him and others like him. . .not to mention it would probably entail them cutting almost their entire development group which would fuck EVE/CCP over righteously.
So, in the end, we're never going to get more than a forced public apology from T20 and minor changes which aren't designed to actually fix anything, just to give the perception of due diligence on CCP's part. When shit like this happens with publicly traded companies heads roll and the place is cleaned out. However, that's never going to happen at CCP. It's just going to be one cover-up after another, one wrist slapping after another. However, I think the damage has been done. I know droves of people that are planning to jump ship once a new MMOPG comes out that's worth its salt. Let's face it. . .EVE only ever had a certain self-life before it became obsolete. With the way CCP runs their product. . .with the endless content upgrades w/ no bug fixes or customer support. . .with the endless cheating and horrible PR. . .that shelf-life has been drastically reduced. Personally, I'm just hanging around to watch the Bobbits get killed off and then I'm probably not renewing my 'scrips.
Just so people know
The Enslaver is Chowdowns real life cousin.

The way I see it, is that the personal information was one of many things that the GM's took into consideration. Also, the Molle post only mentioned the name "******". I can hardly see what the "posting of RL info" was seeing as that "********" is one of Kug's many handles.
I do agree that Molle posting Kug's RL info on his own boards so that people can harass him is in poor judgment, however, CCP has no authority over third party forums and what is done there.
Not to mention, there is a bit of an implied double standard on many of the forum rules. Posting of personal info could range from "His name is Steve" to "His name is Steve Wellington, he lives at 145 Throckmorton lane in Phoenix Arizona. His phone number is also...."
It's hard to have a uniform punishment with this kind of range
This is the most probable course of past and present events. The leading people at CCP lost control over what their employees were doing in-game. How many more spawned officer loot or t2 BPOs are out there? How many more Devs have made real money by selling ISK which they spawned for themselves? No one will ever know...
Btw, they are now hiring russian GMs (gonna have 3 in total) because of the coming russian localization. But guess how much they are gonna get paid? The salary is only equivalent to 600USD (they are getting housing and food in-house tho). Are those money incentive enough to stop GMs from abusing the insider knowledge?
Probably he is referring to the article http://www.ag.ru/news/05-03-2007
600 bucks and rest are probably coming from someone who emailed recruiter.
All i can say.
