need more carebears?

why not zoidberg?
I assure you, good sir, I have stepped in the same river twice. And more so. Attachment 1701
[05:28:32] Damienwhat Solette > friend said, if only they didn't have those 2 falcons there, i said they have 3, and he said that just says they don't want to do anything fair, just want to be dicks about it like not normal dicks but big black huge cocks
It was not the river you stepped over, it was yourself.
As discussed on page 11. I'd love to see a second server which requires a new account, to host Eve2 ( so people attached to their current clones can keep derping into one another). In this new eve, retool ship classes , retool everything for balance, and delete some ship types as required. I'd totally drop my accounts, my 3 year old clone (young I know) and start all over, and I'd pay for the privilege.
I believe that what Pocahontas - heavily influenced by the Milesian school - was getting at was that when you stepped into, or even over, that river, the water within it the first time had long since flowed away to be replaced by new water: thus, while it might be called by the same name, in fact every element of its essence had been replaced many times. It might have looked the same and been in the same place, but it was in fact essentially different.

I too would like to see a second server where everyone could start from scratch.
That way everyone who's whining about a server reset can go there. Then come back to Tranquility once they realise they have to spend a day mining in a Burst just to build a Rifter because there are no minerals, no researched BPOs and no mining lasers better than civilian ones. And heaven help you if you actually want in a cruiser...
A server reset would be retarded. To be fair, so is every other idea in this thread.
Picture the scene ; The Drone Clusterfuck Federation's space-armada is battering the final shield timer of the CONCORD station. Once this last "free" station falls, The Mittani's metrosexual hordes, and their hairy Russian allies will rule the entire Galaxy! Huddled in the station, and faced with the impending doom of the universe as we know it, the CONCORD Honoure High Council, in a final act of desperation, launch their doomsday device, which transports the entire galaxy's population back in time 130million years, to pre-historic Earth, where dinosaurs rule! But these aren't your father's Dinosaurs : The Jovians, using a time machine developed at the End of Time by a collaboration of the Greatest Scientific minds of all time got there first! And they have armed the Dinosaurs with deadly space ships and rocket cannons. Now, the people of the Galaxy ; DCF members and pubbies, carebears and bittervets, elite PvPers and j4gs, must overcome their differences and come together to defeat their reptilian oppressors, and their Jovian allies, and win back their freedom!
EVE 2 - Exodus - Coming 2015

Posting to get rid of ads, and comment on lovely negreps...
As for my negreppers (surprise, both goons) - if this crazy plan went to it's "final" act there would be no-one playing EVE but you - and eventually you too would quit with no-one to grief but each other. Hence my question - what game will you play next, when you've made EVE unplayable for yourself?Originally Posted by Combat Scrub
BTW, I'm not against this plan, but unlike some folks here who either have Trolling trained to V or really hate CCP and EVE, I still enjoy playing sometimes. I haven't found a good replacement for EVE, which was my replacement for Homeworld...
There's a problem with your reasoning.
I don't think goons care if EvE closes it's door, as long as they're the ones slamming it shut.
Wouldn't that ultimately win the sandbox?

I will play EvE until the day I get a 404 message from www.kugutsumen.com

[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.
That reads like my 9th grade English class' group discussions.
[sigpic][/sigpic]
The only thing that sucks in all of this is the fact it will never even be attempted. It's great fodder for trolling each other but one side or the other will decide not to go balls deep on CCP.
the last 2 pages of this thread read like they have been copy pasted from FHC
shame on yall
That jabber leak shows that little commitee doesn't really 'get' how to tackle CCP.
If Mittani managed to get a coalition of goons/russians to take over 0.0, then the goal wouldn't be to disband and 'create content'. That's retarded. Throw aside the whole fact mittani won't ever control a russian alliance and get them to disband on his whim, but creating content and getting bittervets to resub for a powergrab is the exactly the wrong thing to do to get CCP's attention. Boneheads! Creating an interesting game and getting people to join up and play won't get CCP to change their tune!
Now taking all of 0.0, kicking out all renters and making the entire place barren and devoid of any fight worth noting, having thousands of people unsub from sheer boredom and crushing any attempt at smaller alliances trying to getany space of their own, THAT would make CCP do something, cause that would actually hurt them.
You don't want tears, or drama, you want mind numbing, never-changing boredom to break the game. Drama and activity makes people log in. The point is to make the idea as un-fun as possible and make people quit the game in disgust. And if that doesn't work, grief the hell out of hisec too.
I suppose that depends on how much CCP needs Eve to survive. They have already tried making other MMOs for income sources, although Dust could be potentially screwed without Eve around. But if Eve does become stagnant, that also gives CCP a reason to turn their collective effort elsewhere. Then all the whining players get is a nice middle finger as a parting gift. "Breaking the game" still has to be done tactfully, otherwise we might all just get what we have been asking for, no more Eve.
Freedom!
Outside kugu drf can squash mittani's empire at whim. By spaceships, not posting.
So I see this hurf blurf as an abo on a raft nervously approaching a nuclear powered aircraft carrier to sell bananas. And explaining how much in common their ships have in these seas like "You and I are both good captains bro..."
It's a complicated way of making it clear there's no intention of attacking the DRF out of some obligation to try and balance the game on CCP's behalf. Partly because the CFC doesn't have the muscle or enthusiasm to win such a conflict but mostly because it wouldn't be remotely fun. Going down to Delve and creating chaos while annoying the "serious business" MM/Br1ck people is much more fun. The main enemy of the goons is not the DRF as much as it is boredom.
That jabber leak is so old I already revised my position because of the amount of hurfing and blurfing the delve troglodytes have done in the past days
I don't know why people think that we're bluffing on the whole freeport thing. If they are so sceptical they should do what Morsus Mihi has done and just call our bluff by handing over all their systems vOv

Are people skeptical you'll do it? Probably not, although i imagine you'll grief the hell out of anyone who uses your freeport stations.
I don't think people are saying you won't do it, I think they're saying there's no way in hell that people are going to flock down to Delve to live out of Goon stations and turn it into some kind of PvP wonderland. Mostly because there's already 12 NPC stations in the region and it's easier to get to pretty much any of the NPC regions then it is getting to Delve.
Well to be honest, what makes quality fantasy setting darker and edgier is the world where forces of darkness already reign supreme instead of world goverened by jesus, batman and space lion king.
That provides a proper background for a history of hero, epic fail of the villains (Crawlable ventilation shafts, obvious doomsday device, maiden guarded by a guilliable orc etc etc)
Do your meta shit, can't wait to farm new content.
YesCan you dock at the NPC stations if you have negative blood-raider faction?
I don't imagine that many people will turn up at first but, given that people actively pay billions to get scammed over access to our Deklein stations I have no doubt that people will move in, even if some enterprising goon makes them pay to do so at first ("look just fly out here in a covops and try docking: I've already cleared it for you!").
So there will eventually be a population of people there who want access to some of the best ratting in Eve (free -1.00 beats paying 400,000,000ISK/month for a -0.27 sec 6 belt system in Wicked Creek vOv) and where there are sheep, there also are wolves.
Whether it lasts that long before someone else invades probably depends on DCF politics and the winter nerf. But it is fun, and has never been done in eve before, to my knowledge: NBSI conquerable nullsec with docking open to reds. Not counting those times that someone fucks up the horribly unusuble station management screen![]()

I think people might believe Delve stations might be opened but the rest of Mittens to-do list?
This started as a troll, but it might turn into something more than that. We're considering politically unifying the two remaining blocs, crushing whatever outposts of resistance remain (the Delve ghetto, Awagon), and sticking a fork in nullsec.
It's funny to BS about but I don't think a lot of people are buying in to DRF/DC having the ability to pull all of this off or even the staying power required. Personally I think it'd be hilarious but If you guys somehow did manage to unify and completely own null, I see stagnation and even more boredom after some initial success.A to-do list of the hypothetical DCF:
*DRF finishes up Awagon
*CFC 'freeports' Delve and possibly Q/PB, by force or by diplomacy
*Nobody bothers blueing anyone new, NIPs can cover all the needed strategic guidance
*Terror fleets to Hisec and small gang/fleet hilarity, because it's not like any of us enjoy Dominion anyway
