I think you will find that CVAers for the most part dont get all flustered by this. The first time they got booted outta Provi, by AAA/Southern Coalition it was a shock and people freaked out.
Since then there have been constant ebb and flows SOV wise, so this round will most likely barely make them raise an eyebrow.
The citadel/random blues/neuts that get booted out might go all nuts over it tho.
The only people on kugu you should consider "CVA" is Garreck, Hardin and Rovern (forgot Neddy and the resident troll phinas).

Just a mini update for people about a nothing fight... Probably not worth your time reading it tbh:
CVA shot some Irrelevant. SBUs a few days back and then their station and some POSes (mainly with SBs)
Irelevant. got a Drakey/Logi fleet to defend the system this evening. CVA and friends had just got a roughly equivalent fleet formed when a bigish (40 or so) Cascade Imminent gang showed up.
Both Irrelevant. and CVA posed up with CI appearing to probe for us both.
After a while Cascade Imminent got bored and went to XHQ where they succeeded in blowing up a PL Moros https://www.pandemic-legion.com/kill....php?id=468611 and some other stuff that were shooting the -7- station there.
CVA (and friends) took the opportunity to get its fleet together and started shooting the Irrelevant. station - Hoping that Irrelevant. would attack - which they did \0/
We knew CI were still in the YWSO/4B area but as they had no scout in system or neighbouring 9UY and had not seemed to be working with Irrelevant. we were not too worried. The fight seemed to be going our way with 1/2 of Irrelevant's. Basi's destroyed or forced off - with no losses to us at that point.
However as soon as the fight started 9UY spiked and within a minute the CI gang had arrived in system and warped straight to the fight - shooting at CVA - many of whom were bubbled by Irrelevant. Most CVA got out but they did kill two of our Guardians and 3 BS (including my Apoc - on which I discovered I had no MWD fitted at the precise same moment our FC told us to MWD out of the bubble...lol, Dyntheos is sure to smack me on our killboard now).
Not sure if there is some formal link between CI and Irrelevant. - or if this was just the result of an opportunistic convo.
Still from my point of view it was a pity as the CVA/Irrelevant. fight was shaping up to be a nice one if the CI hadn't arrived... Bah

This is an obvious blueprint for winning, and we encourage people in the south to follow along.

Question for Grath. Out of curiosity, why EE and Severance for targets? Logically speaking they're newer and less established alliances than CVA. The systems they hold are lower values (yeah as if any Provi systems have a lot of value) Wouldn't CVA make a better training target?
I have a couple theories about this but figured I'd ask. Personal opinion being those two entities will actually fight for their territory, put up organized coordinated fleets, and die to the man to protect their territory. Meanwhile CVA's priorities involve getting all of their minions to attack an alliance a fraction of their size and will just run back to low sec under the attack of someone bigger than they are with plans to take the territory get back once you get bored and leave.

At first there was no reason, literally, I had absolutely no reason to attack Providence other than to create an entrance to the deep south and build trust between TEST/ESG and PL pilots since the larger portion had never flown together.
Then I got about 30 sob stories from in PL about the terrible things I was doing to the 'last newbie friendly area in the game' and all kinds of other crap, plus we found an alternative to the route we were taking, still, I wanted the option left open, so I figured if opened up the station and fixed it up some maybe they'd just be calm until we were done what we were down here for.
That didn't happen, they fought back (harder and longer than anybody in CVA has, regardless of the number of supers we have on the field), and continue to do so, in the end this makes them more of a target, but from what I understand the waffles are having fun, the residents are probably having fun, so who gives a damn, in the end, if we let them take it back and keep it they'll be stronger because of it.
CVA meanwhile will still be in the middle of deteriorating into a steaming pile of shit.
Last time Pandemic Legion came down around this area, U'K and the Providence NAP squad were in full effect.
They hit and took KBP7-G, which caused those entities to flip out and U'K basically failcascaded. So it's not like it's something personal, they have a tendency to take KBP7 when they deploy over to the South.
Last time PL were around, the area was filled with shitty little backstab alliances who were climbing over each other to make deals to save their sorry little asses.
This time that will not happen. The moment your gone CVA and co will be back like they always have done and always will do.
Of course no one in the area can go toe to toe with PL but without cannon fodder to do any ground work the invasion will go no where fast.
As long as everyone keeps their capitals docked to avoid giving the PL teenagers their little hard ons, grinding through 50 odd systems should be enough on its own to putpaid to such a leet pvp outfit.

Callout: Eternal Evocations Home Defense Fleet. When you bait a combat probing T3 with a cane on a gate you should maybe have him 30km off gate that way I can't merely deagress and give your entire defense fleet the finger on my way out.

H6- station and hub came out of RF tonite. We formed welpgeddons + support and went to bash shit. As usual, FAIL was batphoned and came in with around 35 man AHAC gang. They warped in at the station we were shooting, we warped off to our safe POS then back on top of them and proceeded to enforce the surprise buttsecks.
After whatever remained of the FAIL fleet ran back home we got back to shooting the station. PL was spotted in a system in Providence, then a bit later their cyno HIC came in local and tried to setup a stop bubble trap on our POS. Then they lit a cyno on station, thinking we will fall for it but only one dumb geddon warped and got powned by the Rokhs jumping in at the bad bubble trap. The rest of us scattered at various tacticals and safed up. The bad HIC died to the POS guns, then after they left we caught a bad Rokh that was lagging behind too.
Both station and hub reinforced. Have fun repping your shit up on Christmas WHO.
