I can't speak for everyone, but I don't think we're mad about the fight. Fights are good. I think we're just laughing at some laughable damage control. Actually I think the new NC is being pretty smart. If they give us some decent fights, and let us have the moons, we'll top up the old treasure chest that much sooner and be ready to move on. Giving us no fights or trying to put up a serious defense of the moons would probably be a mistake.

I tend to agree. But on the other hand exactly what can he say? There's no danger of the goons having super-capital superiority, let alone parity, in any meaningful time-frame. They need to do as much as they can with their sub-cap fleet. The obvious strategy of basically clearing pure blind, cutting the transport routes between goons and fountain, and providing three fronts on Deklein will also be fairly effective and once again there's limits as to what DC can do about it. Heck, the DRF forces probably have more revenue to replace losses too.
Still, might as well go down fighting if that's how it ends up.

Tonight taught us that there is still big fights to be had in the north if you will travel for them however later on tonight it became evident to me that the old Nc is having the final laugh, took a roam out and didnt find 1 thing to kill was pretty crap tbh.
Hopefully pb will bring us more fights for both sides to give us something to do otherwise this game will become even more boring then it was before...

I will say this for MH's defence ; it is hard to motivate a carrier pilot to jump onto field when he knows there are a great many supercaps next door. Imagine the long time they have spent saving up for that boat (which may not be covered by their reimbursement scheme), and that they will be so afraid of losing it they won't see the strategic gain of a Suicide Triage. it can be hard for Imembers to identify with the whole "Our alliance needs tech" if they're not themselves getting DIRECT income from it (reimbursement may seem a bit impersonal at times). When it appears to be a dead cert that they will lose their carrier they will invariably not field the product of their hard work's jewing.
It's probably easier to say "Mostly Harmless are shit and should stop being such babbies" though, so I'll go with that

So much happend in Pure Blind yesterday that i don´t even remember all the details anymore but i will try to write some sort of report from the Polaris Syndicate point of view.
Plans were made before hand and our task was to gather our merry band of hoodlums and go to WTF homeland and cause as much distress and mayhem as we could. So we took some "heilcats" with lol-SBU:s and of we go to the BDV3. SBU:d the system and camped the station while havin light conversation with natives. Eatin a ham sammich and takin a nap was their top priority at that time. After lengthy wait we hear that there might actually be some fightin to bee had.. goons were on their way
We jumped to 12YA gate to meet them properly. Their gang was something like 20-30ish BC with shield logistics and we got bout 20 abas with guardians. They jumped in to brawl and after first blows both sides had trouble braking reps. They focused on our guardians and jammed the hell out of them but did not pop any. We switched targets and tried to rule with alpha as much as possible but their scimis did a helluva job too. In the middle of the fight we hear that Ev0ke had done their dirty deeds elsewhere and were ready to join with us at BDV party. Cyno up and Ev0ke enters the field.. Of course goons did not like this development in the scenario and tried to bail and most of them got away.
SBU:s were onlining and there were a lot of juicy targets in the system. We needed to get into dreads for a pos bash, so off we go. Ev0ke did some structure grindin putting JB:s and cynojammers into incap there with supers as we traveled back to reship. Yep the cynojammer was not online before, thats why supers were on the field at first place.
Ok dreads into BDV, target acguired and pewpewpew pos in reinforced mode. This time it was only Polaris at the field and natives were throwing some hars words at us.
WTF promised to kill us next and i think that was their genuine intent. We had problems as our FC had run out of beer o_O and had to take extreme measures to ensure his liquefaction during this whole evening. So they tried to bubble our dreads and do all kinds of nasty shit. Without a proper leadership we were doing poorly in this situation and lost some battleships. We jumped out of pos grid to the sun and were regrouping as Controlled Chaos chased us. Situation looked a bit grim so we thought bring in a bit of triage power to even the field. Cyno up and WTF quickly jumped out but we managed to catch few that were not fast enough.
Next phase of the evening was to start some serious business structure grinding as SBU:s online in C8 and after that BDV3. We joined with Ev0ke and Ewoks to shoot stations and ihubs in those systems. As we were in C8 we heard that WTF had batphoned some friends to get rid of those pesky SBU:s. Fleet consisting mostly of Controlled Chaos and Get of my Lawn was doing spaceship violence to our SBU:s in BDV3. oh my god! We gotta do something!!
True Polaris Hero Ugly Eric jumped into enemy fleet and did the initial bubbling and thus died horribly in the hail of gunfire. Cyno up and whole "heilcat" fleet in. We could not get targets fast enough as ships started to melt. I think they lacked in leadership or balls cos they just seemed to try to warp out. Ok it was a turkey shoot, and i too would have probably wanted to gtfo.
After that it was time to go give some love to their station and ihub, and they were put into reinforced mode.
We were too drunk or too high on our success in the battlefield to participate in further engagements that night. There were some but i leave reporting of those to other men. Sorry for the lengthy post but there were a lot of going on.

Well, I'm not an internet spaceships mastermind, but if I was, I might think that finger-pointing is a pretty good indicator of a cascade inbound, and avoid it where possible. I'm sure it feels good to point fingers, but that might not be the most effective thing to do right now. I don't FC much these days, but if I did, and I was FCing an allied fleet to save a moon, I might go to the trouble of asking how many carriers were in our fleet(s), and if there were only 2, maybe ask some more folks to hop into one. I don't think I'd give a fuck about who brought them.
But that's just me. I'm just a grunt. I will stay tuned to see how a real internet spaceships mastermind does it. Should be interesting.
