Riding the Downward Spiral - Luring the unwary

New players are encouraged to apply if they are willing to train to these ships.

The corp is fairly relaxed-we are looking for chilled people to fly with, rather than those that feel they are elite in every way possible. There are very few rules, posting on forums outside of eve-online are encouraged, interaction with the community is fine. Scamming and general foolishness is also fine. Losing terrible fits so that we don’t have a positive K is something we are also perfectly content with.

However, there are some requirements that you need to tick to join this merry band:

· Have a mic and use mumble

· Hang out on IRC

· Fly or are willing to work towards, covops, bombers, recons or black ops ships.

· Want to shoot people. Industrialists can apply, but these grounds will be limited

· Have an interest in the long term goals the corp has.

· Are willing to fly on drunk roams.

· Are willing to FC on random roams. Unlike most people. If you kill all the people on said roam, we’re not going to get mad. Because that’s pointless. We want people to learn, have fun and step up and have a go.

· Aren’t a delicate flower-if there is comms banter during an op or whatever, don’t feel the need to steal our meta 2 mod stash in a flying rage.

· Play-at least sometimes. We value real life. We understand if you can only log in maybe every few days. We don’t care. However if you never show up, this will likely result in a boot. That’s if one of our directors knows how to do that..

That’s it. We are a chilled bunch of people, we don’t demand a lot. If this interests you, feel free to drop into our public channel ‘Sabotage Public’ and speak to either Dagda Morr, Padain Thor, Xeno Val or Bowkers. Or send a PM to these people, and they’ll get back to you.

So this is our advert in all it's mediocre glory. My co-conspirator and I sweated and laboured over this (in our minds) finely crafted piece of penmanship. We were certain that it would pave the way for the teeming hordes of potential applicants to our welcoming ( possibly lecherous) embrace.

So far we have picked up two members with a third interested (go on, sign up - you know you want to!) bring the total number of brave spacecaptains to 4.

As pleased as we are with this, to get to our target of 20 members it's likely to take us another 8 or so weeks - assuming 2 per week is a sustainable number.

The tricky thing to know is have we, having determined a niche, picked one too narrow? We are in competition for bomber guys with bigger entities like DNS - at what point do you decide to readjust and broaden the focus of a corp for numbers? One week in is certainly too early - but there is always the danger that current members drift away as you can't reach the critical mass needed to follow through with the big ideas sold to recruits.

We're fairly fortunate at the moment - we will be teaming up with a small (but bigger than us!) corp to have some fun over the next few weeks - I'm hoping it will be the start of a beautiful (with homoerotic overtones) relationship between the two corps as we both grow.

So keep an eye on your overviews - you may well soon have the chance to shit up our killboard with the wreckage of our carefully crafted slosh fleets!
